I really like her style, her music, her overall artistry. When I listen to her stuff, I feel like there's a real human being behind the work. It doesn't feel overly crafted or overworked. It doesn't feel managed to the point where the person disappears and all that's left is the product. Her work has, to me, dimension. It seems to breathe. It feels organic rather than generically crafted to be as unoffensive, obsequious, and innocuous as possible to maximize its money-grab potential.

I really like that Solange doesn’t have millions of views on this. I actually like Solange, I knew about her before the whole smack down with Jay Z, and she actually has fantastic vocals, can dance pretty well, and dress like a normal human being and look good doing so. I appreciate artists like her that can bring in a bit of old school and style to the mix :D

I don't think it's awkward, at all, but some sort of theme she's trying to roll out. Her movements in "Losing you" were similarly uncoordinated, and the live performances of songs from the EP have similar choreography.
