Thanks for the granular details; your acknowledgement of the trials and tribulations of use of the system will save me frustration and/or disaster. I am about to make extensive use of the Hovr system, my first time working with it. In construction phase of my renovation, I have shimmed the walls perfectly flat and also installed continuous horizontal blocking at each shelf location. Given how thick and stout the shelf stock must be, I see no need to extend the dados particularly close to the ends of the shelves, much less to square off their ends. I plan to simply limit the length of the extrusions to that of the full depth portion of the recesses. Am I missing something?
Thanks for showing the install. Looks to be more difficult than the company advertising but still doable. I'll find something cheaper that's an easier install

Set screws, necessary? Doesn’t the weight of the shelf and contents keep it in place?
These are not ideal for shelves inbetween walls that need scribed
