@@Biggus_Dickus117 Lebanon. A grain silo full of ammonium nitrate caught fire and exploded so hard that damaged or destroyed many buildings in the city. The ammonium nitrate had been confiscated and sat there for 6 years waiting to be disposed. It was like a ticking time bomb.

After my reception to ex, 3 people were arrested, two spent the night in jail. One for assault with a champagne bottle. Cops were parked across the street just handing out DUis as people left. Fortunately, we'd left by the time this all happened! Moral of the story - no open free bars at receptions. People were taking bottles of vodka to their cars.

There's common moral, in many video compilations of wedding fails. Don't try anything fancy, unless you have rehearsed it many times, in identical conditions, with at least, one dress rehearsal. If you have any doubts, keep it simple.

0:12 -- Actually, lots of people were hurt. This couple happened to be taking their wedding photos when the massive explosion in Beiruit on 8/4/20 happened, that leveled a good portion of the city, injured about 300,000, and killed over 200.
That sucks... hope those 300,000 people are okay now.

Thankfully, most window collisions do not, in fact, usually lead to bird death! They are typically stunned for a while, but will typically recover if given time and space in which to do so.

Videos like these make me SO glad that our proposal was done in private and that we didn't have alcohol at our wedding. We also didn't have a large wedding party or dancing or over the top photos and such. Just a nice, quiet, genuine wedding and not a spectacle. It was cheaper that way, too. We saved the real money for our honeymoon. Yes, we're selfish. Deal.

That wasn't a bird release, that was falconry. One person (the groom?) calls the bird by its name - Max - and the owl has jesses on its feet. My guess is that they were planning a cute delivery of a ring, or something. But yes, idiotic to do it in a crowded, confusing room with weird light conditions.
My ex husband proposed in a crowded restaurant. It was very embarrassing and there's a very strong pressure to say yes when people are watching and clapping and excited to see you get engaged.
