If you want to get closer to the Lord, you yourself have to discipline yourself to spend time with him and his word. Telling you from experience ! I shut tv off etc and anything that would hinder that time with God. And did it pay off! My knowledge of the word grew ,and thus so did my faith grow, and I’m still growing and learning, and I developed a better and closer walk with the Lord. What a blessing my discipline got me . Take some time out daily to study the word , you will so glad you did. God Bless in Jesus Name !

I just turned 50 and have chosen to live by the Lord. I've always had an interest but my family wasn't religious so therefore we never went to church. my mother later in her life became a very religious lovely person. She'd always ask me to talk with God but I just didn't know what to say. Which brings me to today. Today I was advised to read Romans 6 through 8. I immediately wrote down what I took from it. I then found your video and Can't Wait to here your take. I lost my Mother Father and Brother all in ten years. They were all far too young. I do know however my mother would be so proud of me. And for that I shed tears of joy. You have a new subscriber here. I can't wait to watch your new and old content. Thank you so much and bless you.
Woooww God is moving! Everyone seems to be doing Romans this month..... I'm conducting my own Bible study and some of the girls previously had it in mind to do Romans and now I'm seeing my fav Christian UA-cam's are doing the same! Defo not a coincidence! This is such a great video for baby believers but also for those who have had a relationship with God for a while! As a teenager this helps me to go back to the “basics” and really understand a few chapters that I have read so many times but you helped put a few things in a new perspective. Thanks a lot!! 💛

E &J. Yes I agree! The journey so far has been great! I’ve been getting up earlier and reading the Bible and at night before I go to bed I listen to Christian podcasts! Praying use to be difficult since I didn’t know what I needed to say but now I talk to him like I would with anyone else and it feels amazing!
I love when you say you were just a regular girl trying to teach other that's exactly what I try to do on my channel. Sometimes others may judge you but you do what God tells you to do and he will take care of the rest. Definitely appreciate you guys!

That part which Paul says that through the law the sin entered his life, always intrigued me. Nowadays I see that not everything that is good is meant to be ours.
Thank you!! Romans can be confusing and hard to understand the moral complexity in certain versions so it's helpful to hear other perspectives

Just prayed! My grandma was once sick and weak before. I definitely understand the stress. I watched my mom worry about my grandma. Just keep believing things will get better because eventually they will! Thank God my grandma got better after a long journey. Your family will get through this!❤️✨

Y’all should do Esther because it is such a unique and amazing book of the Bible and unrated and under used when it is so powerful and shows divine intervention despite God not being mentioned in that Book at all but is the only book of the Bible that has the most evident of divine intervention.

hi! could you do a video on what to do when you’re “moving into” a new bible? I know Ashley has had a few different bibles, and I wanted to know if she just went through them highlighting and annotating what she used to have or if she just highlighted and annotated as she went.
I love this!! You’re so wise and had so many great points!!! I was wondering though what you meant by the law is weakened. The law today is the same law as the Old Testament law. We’re saved by Christ now just as we were then but we don’t have to atone for our sins today through sacrifices. Just a thought:) I LOVED this study so much!!! ❤️❤️
Ok, so I have a question which is... once you finish reading the Bible, how do you continue growing closer to God, and learning more about Him, and how to be more like Him (etc.) I personally haven’t finished reading my bible but I am aware that eventually I will, and I don’t know how to continue after that, so I was wondering if you could make a video about that or reply to this or something haha. Thx in advance!!!

I find that God always has a message that I need to know/learn, or be comforted by, no matter how many times I've gone back to read a chapter/passage/book in the Bible.

Acts 2:38 "And Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission on sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:40 "And with many other words did he testify and exhort saying save yourselves from this un-toward generation"
The lord chose twelve apostles to preach the gospel and the plan of salvation to the world, Jesus died for our sins which now has given us our own freewill to make the decision to do these three things in love and continue to strive toward his perfect will. It is not enough to just be a good person and do good acts, we must walk after his love.
John 3:3 "Verily Verily I say unto thee, except a man be born of the water and of the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God"
Thank-you Jesus for dying on that rugged cross for us because now we have a chance to make our heart right with him daily. The Lord's death doesn't mean we are automatically saved, but he gave us free will to choose the path of life or darkness. Jesus was sent for US to follow after his example as he robbed himself in flesh by repenting(Matthew 4:17), being baptized in Jesus name (Acts 2:38)and having the Holy Spirit(John 14:26)(Matthew 4:16).

The beautiful thing is, that he keeps you close to Him. All you have to do is ask. Practically, I'd recommend digging into Scripture and prayer (these things do not save us, as I'm sure you know :), but they do draw us closer to Him). I'll pray for you now... and please, don't stress too much - just keep loving God. As long as you seek first his kingdom, this will be given to you (Matthew 6:33) x
