Good advice, same experience here, wear my Vifofit every day, never used my smart watch after the 1st few weeks. Hope this can save some people making an expensive mistake. I also think a fitness band that displays the time always is best. Another point is with a smartwatch you need your phone's Bluetooth always on, draining the battery, whereas fitness bands you can just sync occasionally.
I like smartbands more just because i can wear them on one hand while a normal analog watch on the other hand without looking weird at all. This way i get to continue wearing regular watches which i love as well and at the same time use a band on the other to get notifications, fitness tracking, and sleep insight. So yeah
That's the exact reason i'm going for a band. I had smartwatches for the last 4 years, but the new models just look awful (samsung galaxy 4 is so boring; i will sell mine). So i'm going back to my automatic watches, that look amazing, but i still need the notification fast look that a smartwatch/band gives me. No video about the band vs watch gets this IMPORTANT reason to get a band.

Totally agree with you regarding your assessment of smartwatches vs fitness bands. I was on the lookout for a fitness band with music capability; but found none. Sir, I use sony smartband talk SWR30 fitness band and i can see notifications, reply to them and even set 3-4 contacts on the band and call them directly via it. I have used both samsung gear fit 2 and mi band 2 but i think this one was more comfortable and suited me more

Nice video, but You have forgotten the most notable gimmick(or feature) of smart watch and that is the various watchfaces that you can download from play store, which can effectively be used to show a new watch everyday. Smartwatch is excellent for customisation freaks which is impossible for a smart band

ya that's right smartwatch with high on price & less battery not worth it but with Smartband youll get bored very soon as it looks same and have less feature but there is Xiaomi Amazefit smartwatch with great feature and great battery life about 6 days and Come in budget of 6k and you won't get bored with it

I got an Alcatel One Touch smart watch for ₹5999 on Flipkart around an year ago. I think ones like that are good for the Indian market considering that the expensive ones aren't any special either. At that price point a smart watch is better than a band probably.

Another reason I prefer smart bands is that I like to wear traditional mechanical watches. I can wear my regular watch on my left wrist and my small tracker on the right wrist and it doesn't feel weird.
