- This film documents the daily routine of a normal, healthy infant in a white middle-class household in pre-World War II America. The baby's routine, almost hour-by-hour, is shown--feeding, napping, outdoor time, the process of sterilization of formula, dinner, and the short time he sees his father at the end of the day. In depicting the baby's routine, the film also illustrates the daily responsibilities of the mother--housekeeping, laundry, food preparation, and the like.
Produced by New York State Department of Health.

That baby is around 83 today, if still alive.
Its crazy🤔😄
Same age as my grandma! She’s 83 and still kickin!
What is the obsession of the baby drinking out of the damn glass.
Now I know why I was raised by the clock! My parents were, and they turned out scientifically magnificent!
This sweet little baby is a very old man now if alive, makes me feel kind of sad.
Awwwwe That Little Baby Is The CUTEST
What a fun video! The children's clothes are especially adorable 😊
Now of days you cant leave your baby outside and go in the house who knows what could happen to them
My mother always did that. I would too if I had my own garden but I would constantly check.
Neighborhood pedophilia would snatch him up.
I did but I live in a very rural community sleeping on the back deck was very safe
Baby is so cute. Good old days
A whole lot easier to feed the baby "nature's way."
The narrator is a riot!
Wow! Those disks on a chain look like such a fun toy! The father can only play with the baby 30 seconds a day.
Those baby bottles looked like they held a quart of milk.
Or a jumbo of beer.
Feeds him meds and goes to sleep.. lol
The spinach looked like chocolate pudding..... 5:55
can babies at that age drink so much water??
Hell no.
They can have a little water like in the video, but these days it's not really done. Baby kidneys aren't up to the task.
Breastfeeding for your baby is the best...
Ugh cloth diapers were much more common before disposable diapers. So much 💩 💩💩
but way better for the environment !

Dang.that baby got a big ass head,!!
Maby disabled
