I have to argue that it is 100% environmental nurture. That each individual is capable of violence, but whether they act on that violence has to do with the wisdom they acquired in life
Essentially it is suggested that heart rate increase as a stress response, due to the release of adrenaline, however those whom have lower amygdala activity (such as that in psychopaths) don’t experience this because the amygdala detects the environmental stimuli and the hypothalamus responds by stimulating relevant glands to release hormones, however this isn’t present in psychopaths because their amygdala won’t respond to environmental stimuli, thus no secretion of adrenaline thus heart rate doesn’t increase. Hope this helps:)
Also nature needed aggressive men. If not - a good chance you and your family would have starved. Sometimes violence is necessary. Even in today's world if you are too passive, it can allow a huge amount of horrors into your life. People will walk all over you.
A lower resting heart rate meaning, let's say someone kills a person, if someone has a lower resting heart rate, that is not normal and grounds for possible psychopathic patterns. One's heart rate would normally be racing. Another example, Lie detector tests.. if someone tells a lie and their heart rate is lowered and rested they are not affected or concerned about what they have done, again, psychopathic patterns... vs a normal person's heart rate again would be racing. This is why murderers and psychopaths usually get away with passing a lie detector test because they do not "feel" as normal people would. :)
@@JV-ju8gv But great athletes have lower resting heart rates. I'm sure stronger men are more likely to be violent than weaker ones but I wouldn't say that being big and strong is a cause of violence. Hence the difficulty in trying to determine causation from statistical analysis.

Unless you suffered a very severe focal injury to just that part of your brain the answer is a resounding no. Concussions result in a diffuse strain pattern across a large section of the brain that causes a normally reversible chemical imbalance and which generally does not result in cell death or long term problems.
I've bumped my head a few times -- had a ball kicked in my face, had a door smashed into my face, and bumped my head on a low-hanging doorway, but never actually suffered a full-blown concussion, as far as I am aware. The definition of a concussion is kind of hazy though. Some people use the word to mean any jolt to the brain -- whether or not that causes any damage -- and others only for ones that cause fairly obvious symptoms (e.g. loss of consciousness, seeing stars, feeling dizzy, etc). Unfortunately, concussions are not that well understood. Some experts think that concussions don't really cause any significant damage, and others think that even mild concussions are serious. My guess, having read a lot about this -- and spoken to quite a few people in the field -- is that only blows which causes persistent symptoms are likely to have done any damage to the brain, and even in these cases the damage is probably completely reversible as 90% of people make a full recovery. There was a recent study with mice in which they found that only repeated concussions in a short period of time seemed to cause long term problems. The idea being that if you suffer a second concussion before recovering from the first your chance of 100% recovery decreases. I'm not an expert though -- as you rightly pointed out -- so I might be talking rubbish.

How does having a lower resting heart rate make you agressive?

A lower resting heart rate? I don't think their is a relationship there. That's like saying ice cream sales cause violent crime.
