I have been to Thailand, Phuket for the first time in November 2022. Came for 1 month, stayed in Old Town, Patong, Karon and Surin, drove whole island. Karon/Kata was the best place imo. Good prices, much more affordable food than in Patong, loved also the vibes much more. Cant wait for my next trip in January.. This time i will be exploring Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Krabi.

Ooh that beach looks lush! I stayed at centra grand beach in Karon in 2021 and it was dead! I loved watching the ghost crabs by night. I’m with Gladys, I had massages every couple days. 45 mins for around £3! Thailand is always a good idea!

There are a lot of nice beaches around Pattaya. Oddly enough, most of them are waaay better than Pattaya Beach lmaoo, Great video Chris!

Looks really nice . Never been to Asia , but weve decided to book 8 nights at Kamala beachThailand at the beginning of April next year . Weve been looking at the hotel at the start of your video , but we both love swimming in the sea , so now a bit put off with the red flags . What would the sea conditions be like at that time of year ?
Last Feb I stayed in Patong and I only lasted 4nts before I moved to Surin. Kamala and Surin are more my low key vibe. Looks empty compared to earlier in the year.

When I was in Phuket for my first time in Feb 2022 I stayed at The Hotel Clover Patong. It's across the road from the beach, there is a rooftop pool where they have a DJ at night sometimes. A little more expensive but not crazy. I would stay there again.

I almost never get the chance to hit the Like button because I watch on tv, unlike the phone where it's still there when the video ends with the tv the video leaves and I miss my chance a lot. I try to leave a like button and the start but I have adhd so I sometimes forget. When the video is ending I'm reminded so I rush to the like button with seconds to spare and I usually miss it. I try not to go back to the video again because it restarts and shows that I did not watch it and I like to keep my videos showing that I already watched them.
It would be nice if the outro was long enough for someone to take their time and hit the like button before the video ends and trust me 5 or 10 seconds isnt enough, I feel like I'm racing to hit it.. by the time I even think to like the video it's already gone. I know how much liking a video helps and it would be better if the outro was at least 30 seconds or more with a reminder.
What time of year did you go? We leave in 3 weeks- so excited! But getting nervous about the heat. Was it pretty tolerable?

Hey Chris! I'm going back to Thailand in january but having trouble finding a clear water beach to actually swim in. I've been in phi phi islands during the excursions they gave me but not allowing to swim in the water just like in your video in the beginning. Any other beaches you recommend for that?
