My understanding is, the bar gradually drops down as your food amount decreases in stock. Green means you have most or all of the food required to feed the animals for a good while, yellow means you're starting to run low and should order more food soon, and red means you will run out of food in the next couple of days, or you already ran out and your animals will starve if you don't reorder.
Hey, I have one animal keeper to each enclosure and the diets set correctly like in the video and they always say they’re hungry still, particularly the rabbits. Do you know why this is?
Iirc my rabbits reached once numbers one single Animal Keeper wasn't able to keep up with. Sounds from the outside like a lack of workforce, but it's been a while o/
Do you know what the different colors mean on the diet bar? Does red mean it's too much, or is red associated with protein?

How do I get more than two animal keepers?
It only ever lets me hire two.
Update: it has let me after many many (in game) days of playing. Still not sure what the requirements were
