@@ShhooterMcGavin I fished the Elk with friends in 2016 and 2018, staying in Fernie, and I can verify that the border checkpoint they went through is on the way to Fernie, so pretty sure you are correct. Also recognized the takeout.
Wow... your films leave me speechless! Idk how you don't have over a mill subs.... your content is better then 99.9% of all the editors and creators on youtube, period. You guys inspire me to go fishing and find more time to experience these places with loved ones. Thank you for creating your beautiful content, god bless.
Thank you, that means a lot. I didn’t go to college for film but I’ve put a lot of time into editing/production over the years to get to where I am. With anything, if you put enough time into it you’ll get better and I’m still learning every single day. Tight lines!
You guys are incredible! You seriously capture the essence of fly-fishing, from trying to figure out what to do when you're getting skunked, to the excitement of figuring out the water. So awesome
Scotty- thanks for taking us along on your trip. I'll probably never get to BC in person, but you showed us all how beautiful it is. The drone footage is mind-blowing. Looking forward to your next adventure. You're destined to be a famous adventure film maker. I can't wait to tell people that I knew you when...
My favorite fishing channel. I know your content is so good because you take your time but wow I wish I could have a new video from you every day. One of the many reasons I picked up a fly rod. Thank you for making these videos!
I could see your videos being played at a fly fishing festival. It's crazy how good your able to make short films. I still hope to see the day I meet you on the water in Maine!
Glad to see the love hasn;t died. You guys remind me exactly of me and our crew in the late 60s and 70s. We did what we had to do to make a living but spent every second we had, together, on a river...trout and Ranier (because we were young and poor)
I have been watching your channel for years. Amazing content, you always fish with class acts. I can assure you that as soon as Adam and Steve get their inventory back I will support them. I enjoy what you do and how you do it keep em coming Scottie!
I know that you don’t get as much recognition as some of the others but I have to say you are the best and I mean the best fishing UA-cam channel that I have ever seen. Your videography skills are insane keep doing what you are doing and it will pay off.
wow! Thanks so much, my man that really means a lot. As for App State, I absolutely love it and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Fishing, Skiing, Hiking, etc. at your leisure at all times is quite amazing.
Wow! What an awesome series! You know when the fishing is great or gone bad...bleep...bleep...lol. You are a fantastic film creator! Keep up the awesome job!
Eh bud! Great video Shout out from WNC. I finally made it out to Idaho to fish as well. I fished the same messy canyon. It is crazy how different the ecosystem is out there.
Beautiful production! We're you using the Video Micro? That's my go to drift boat mic. I also use the Zoom H1N for preamps. Cheaper to replace if they take a swim, haha.
Also I am thinking about going to college at Appalachian state and would like to know if you would recommend it and if you have enjoyed your time there
Can you share with me what you are floating for a boat and frame. My son and I are looking for a boat to run the Missouri and montana rivers. We are avid fisherman and love montana rivers.
Highly recommend the Blackfoot strike from Sotar. They’re rafts are killer and super versatile. We’ve banged them up so much and they still in top notch shape
I just used a boat slide for the first time last summer! Loved the vid; great content. I’m an Idaho Angler and learning to fly fish in this great country. I’d love it if you checked out the channel sometime and let me know what you think!
I grew up on the Elk River. It was SO cool watching you guys experience my childhood fishing spots for the first time! I'm a new subscriber and I'm really loving the vids. Tight lines! :)

That last day in Canada looked a lot like the Elk River in Fernie....am I right?

One question as well, how did you learn to edit so well and create the perfect mix of content? For time or did you take college will going to college?

nice quiet moment of video and then " I would really love to see that cow fall off that cliff right there".
Love it!

Absolutely gorgeous
Awesome! What size raft?
Awesome
Hell yeah
Awesome series! Who makes this raft frame? Best one I've ever seen!
Montanaraftframes.com contact Leo.
He does it all at his house it’s amazing. He’ll do custom work too.
Also I am thinking about going to college at Appalachian state and would like to know if you would recommend it and if you have enjoyed your time there
What frame do you have on that red Sotar raft? I am in the market and like the looks of that frame. Awesome video by the way!!
Damn I just stumbled upon a gem of a channel
What kind of inflatable is that you guys are using, floating the river? Very nice!
What kind of raft do you use?
Are bull trout still protected in the US and Canada?
Love the videos!! Amazing film quality and story telling! You should put some hats up on your website because I’d love to buy one!!
Thank you. Be on the lookout this spring, for new apparel and hats...
Can you share with me what you are floating for a boat and frame. My son and I are looking for a boat to run the Missouri and montana rivers. We are avid fisherman and love montana rivers.
What kind of raft do you guys use? Thinking of buying a raft for doing some floats up here in northern Wisconsin, what do you guys recommend?
Highly recommend the Blackfoot strike from Sotar. They’re rafts are killer and super versatile. We’ve banged them up so much and they still in top notch shape
What's your rod setup? Rod weight and length and line, leader, tippet?
Or how awesome your fly is that he nailed it with a fish already in his mouth
How do you get back to the truck? I am
Just wondering, thinking about doing a kayak drift trip?
We had a mini motorcycle that we would put at the takeout in the morning so we could shuttle back up to the truck after the float.
@@WildFlyProductions What motorcycle do y’all use for that?
@@rpg2015 it was a Honda Grom
Can I contact u somehow about this video?? Thx
What kind of raft is that? GREAT job with the videos.
It's a Sotar Blackfoot Strike. Length unknown.
Good work not naming the streams

I truly get annoyed when anglers bad mouth fish as "trash fish". Suckers are cool, man. And a fun fight. They're mostly native and serve as cleaners.
What’s the name of the last river you guys fished??
Where is this again, what river?
The music is a bit much but everything else is epic
