[Darkest Dungeon 2] Solo Chad Leper vs ACT (5/5) FINAL BOSS [SPOILERS]

- Опубліковано 9 тра 2023
- Solo Leper with trinkets, quirks, and inn buffs altered to give him a fighting chance against all the confession bosses in Darkest Dungeon 2. Everything showcased in the video is technically achievable by normal means. Nothing has been modded, only adjusted via save editing.
Current boss: COWARDICE (ACT 5)
Baldwin on top, all hail the king. - Ігри
Imagine, a dying man with leprosy outmatching literally eldritch god in battle of attrition.
Thats our leper
leprosy only made him stronger
He is the epitome of gigachad
Baldwin is very much "The Indomitable Human Spirit" given form. If Reynauld (The Crusader) was the hero of DD1, Baldwin is definitely DD2's
Twice
I love how the entire community has unanimously decided that leper is the one and only giga chad of this game.
It's because *_He is_*
His lore lets us see the copious amounts of chadness he carries with himself
He kinda resembles MF DOOM so thats probably that
@@Gregoxx he literally did nothing wrong. He's the only one who faces the light in the Reflection screen, as opposed to the others who face away from it.
I think it's one of those rare instances where being a good and moral being in a normal setting would be considered boring. But in Dark fantasy populated with heroes who have massive flaws, having a good character is refreshing.
Body of Work: Noooo you can't just ignore my very funny mechanic and brute force a 1000 hp boss with minions!
Leper: OBSERVE.
Fog before sunrise.
Summer before the fall.
Rain in the forest.
Honk before bonk.
blood in the mud
I know it would make him stupidly more OP than he already is,
But I would love for "Face Your Failure" to have no effect on the Leper.
He made no mistakes, he committed no evil.
It is cool how "Face Your Failure" ends up summoning one of his advisors though, instead of a younger version of him from when he was still healthy and strong. Not only does it show that he didn't commit any grave sin, it also shows that despite how painful just living must be, he doesn't regret his actions that led to his infection for even a second, because he it was the right thing to do. He'd do it all again without a moment's hesitation.
At most, it might actually show that the only thing he regrets is that he had to kill his advisors instead of finding a way to work things out with them. Which honestly makes him seem even MORE heroic.
@@Gabriel-oq8gshis only regret is that he failed to make his advisor see the wisdom to rule in peace and compassion, thats totally out of his control, he literally did nothing wrong
I actually believe that Leper needs a buff with the numerous weaknesses he has. He does too little minimum damage, even with Tempest.
Tempest Leper + Jester combo is my favorite combination
@@TheGunslinger44 i think he should get buffed in terms of blindness, i mean chances of indness after hit are too high imo, it should be decreased by 10% at least
0:53 Okay having just Leper there making that pose, no fear, its so badass lol
That all you got? Let me just lean nonchalantly on my sword here.
Didn't even bring the whole sword for you, little man.
Most relaxing day for the Leper
and so the final battle for our world began, on one side a broken man possessed by a crown of terrible cosmic power, a puppet of an indescribable horror that eats away at existence itself, a great tumor upon our universe, so corrupt and hateful that it even hates itself, a nobody transfigured into a twisted god. On the other side, an equally broken man, but this man has embraced his humanity rather than casting it aside, this man is filled not with hate, but with selfless love, not with madness, but virtue. This man, despite his diseased flesh and broken vestments, shines with a flame of hope that no darkness can extinguish, a radiance sustained by pure resolve. Once a king, now a wretched nobody. The two men were both faceless, both of their hideous visages concealed, and yet they faced each other all the same.
Absolutely love this
YES
This is what happened when Baldwin actually tried and took things seriously lol
Now he’s feeling motivated
@@jackmoseley4959 my man is jist using a big hunk of steel. Imagine if he had yamato
Body of work : look at my horrible body
Leper: you know leprosy?
"Face your failures"
"Face these nuts"
Teammates just slow him down. Can’t get knocked to the back row if you are the only one
Somewhere down the battle. "futility" stopped being an attempt from the Body of Work at damaging his enemy and began turning into an admission of what he was facing.
Just imagine what Leper could do if he *_didn't_* have that illness.
technically it's his leprosy that helps him since he's numb to the pain
@@lolbutidontlaugh yep and that he knows he's a dead man walking, so it gives him the courage to face down these creatures.
He just wants his death to help the world.
Imagine if he could use solemnity more than once.
This kind of ability to withstand pain without the illness? He would be the KING OF KINGS.
We've seen his moveset. The disease has only made him stronger.
Amazing how the meltdows do so much more damage than the boss
"Your worst enemy is yourself." The academic probably.
The fact that you healed 242 hp with 1 button is insane
I would absolutely dig it as headcanon that leper solo'ed this eldritch machination, because he is the only one who looks at the sunlight when faced with his past while others face away from it.
The beast's attacks that represent melancholy and self hatred have no effect on one that accepts his past, with his mind clear of fault and regret he dominates the battle and sends the universal entity back to the void.
Leper isn't part of the black air force roundtable, Leper is the entire damn table.
Yeah, its sad that "shackles of the past" still works on him
@@alekzanderor5489He does nothing wrong, but he still have failures. He take the leprosy because tried to heal his people himself. He ruined his own life to save others
@@retro8825 yeah, but what matters is wether or not this fact "plagues" his thoughts, and ending of his story suggests that it doesnt.

Love how this one takes about 10 times longer than the other bosses solely because you have to chop through +1k hp
Suppose highwayman could solo it too if he had a really good trinket for healing and maxed out resistances since the point blank on kill can push the little fellers back and into place to cycle kill in phase 3?
I love these mods that let you play as the boss.
I don’t think its a mod tho…..
Looks like someone didn't read the description
Looks like nobody understand that comment rofl
Okay, the fact that when The Leper is forced to face his failures, he just instantly crushes the echo with no effort is clearly reflective of the kind of power The Body of Work is facing
I love how the first 2 phases too 3 minutes and then I realised the video was 20 minutes long
for this guy, leprosy went from a debuff to a passive
Leper did the final boss faster alone than he would have if he had a full team.
When the Boss music is not for you.
That's makes two cosmic eldritch horrors the Leper has solo'd, granted he needed a team of Plague Docters (which quite frankly I find hilarious) for the first one but yea, both in backstory and gameplay, he's a giga chad.
He needed the Plague Doctors to suppress the leprosy enough to get it out of his way.
His plague is the only thing holding him back XD@@michaelramon2411
normally you can only lock 1 positive quirk.
Except for Leper, he is gigachad.
This is the equivalent of someone beating the hell out of you so you snap out of being evil lmao
"spare the others.... I'm Ready"
The king is still broken as ever
I just saw a friend have a Leper who solo'd Denial so I'm actually really tickled by the fact that it wasn't a fluke.
Just imagine leper without the self blind mechanic
"Face your failure!"
*CHOP*
*Baldwin:* "Should I do it?"
*(Not) Emperor Palpatine:* "HEW IT."
All jokes aside, I love the fact they intentionally had to nerf Leper in DD2 with constant blind tokens because even they knew he was too strong when top level in DD1 taking on the HoD solo.
"And once more, he gazed to the sun, and thought... of his many blessings."
For eldritch god it was battle to the death
For Leper it was tuesday
Now I want a DLC where we play as the Leper's past on his journey to become the king
Leper solos the final boss? That is just normal Leper gameplay
This reminds me of that board with things like "believes they can't kill god - can kill god" and the like.
Leper would be "Doesn't believe in god - killed god at 3am in a parking lot".
love the intro of just solo Baldwin with his sword in the ground about to slap the boss
Any noticed that the boss theme is”final combat”from darkest dungeon mission?
I did and I loved it
its a good callback
How did you lock in all three quirks? I thought it was impossible to lock in more than one.
likely a result of the save being edited
Save edit, no mods. Says so in the description
Man, this is so much Gurren Lagann per pixel I think I'm going to manifest my spiral energy in form of a badass gunmen.
your leper is actually the final boss
Local man literally too GigaChad to die.
Local man has decided that eldritch gods are no longer cool
"I am Baldwin, Christian King of a people you do not know. My sword is much like my body, broken but unyielding and deadly." ~Baldwin the Leper before beating the shit out of an eldritch Hod beyond human comprehension.
Both times he uses solemnity it feels like "would you kindly wait there for a second? I need to take a dump on your face".
Rain in the Forest 2: Eldritch Boogaloo
Who would win? A demonic horror seeking to snuff out all light? Or a terminaly-ill man with nothing to lose?
Always bet on the cornered tiger kids.
I like to think the thing he says when selecting "face your failure" when he's alone is him looking down at the kingdom from his platform, as if he's making a final promise to sacrifice himself for the kingdom
That's a Chad move
No matter what the enemy throws the Leaper will remain and the Leaper will chop
I don't even know which one is the boss here
Didn't watch because of spoilers but Im impressed anyway, kind regards, cheers
I'm on chapter 4 so me neither. Will come back once I've done ch.5
The God King Leper returns once again.
impossible challenge: beat act 3 boss with only leper
it's actually pretty manageable with a little bit of luck since leper only needs like 3 crits or 5-6 hits in total
I actually already did it, it's on my chanel. Just like all the rest of the bosses.
and the critical hit + double deathblow what a giga chad!!
May I ask, how did you manage to lock in three positive quirks? I thought it was only possible to lock in one
Chance to happen when playing
@@loafofbread9400 No. He edited his save, as is mentioned in description.
"Spare the others. I. Am ready."
GIGACHAD APPROVED
Man really just posted a Berserk episode, acting like we wouldn't notice
Me be like. Where withstand? Where revenge? And most importantly. Where accuracy????
Damn how many things you eat in the last Inn?
One man stands, opposing a god, that is not a man, that is another god.
*DD1 FLASHBACKS*
Rain in the forest.
That leper is indeed a chad
Track is from dd1 then city goes to siege from bandits
Hello Sir, I know how to lock in 3 quirks but what do I have to flag in order to stop a 4th one coming in? Thank you!
Ii wonder where's your Focused Fault vs Leper vid. Hoping to see it soon haha
Focused Fault is bugged on one hero, until they fix it (I already pointed it out on bug report thread) or I fix it myself by modifying the game files then I can't do it.
The bug in question is a result of small eyes attempting to mirror the positioning of the enemy team but when there's only one hero that means only one eye will act and the rest will just skip their turns making it impossible to progress.
how did people end up figuring that bug out
@@Toby-Maguire By losing heroes right before the boss. I saw a streamer lose one party member and soft lock him out of finishing it.
@@ekrellyt focused fault trying to not be a insufferable terribly designed boss challenge impossible.
@@doomfishmain5154 I see that thing as the true final boss of the game and for all the wrong reasons. It's unfortunate because the final result could've been a cool fight until it devolved into "Sleeper but the deck is stacked against you at every level." I'm gonna attempt to get Grand Slam and the thought of having to take a 4-person team through the Sigh (who can RNG you to death) and the Fault terrifies me.
Man this eldrich horror shouldn't have even trued to use the leppers past becase my man doesn't have any regrets
Rain in the Forest!
o leper é o GIGACHAD em pessoa
he's literally guts
He is a monster!
How did you manage to have that 242 HP?! 😮
When Baldwin has to face his failure, couldnt you have just kept using Chop against the Body? since it’ll take a while for the failure to even remotely do significant damage against Chad Leper. Also it wouldve given the luxury of being able to use Exultation at anytime.
If that doesn't prove to you all that, he IS the main protagonist, then I dont know what will.
ok that dame good
How do you lock multiple quirk?
you cant lock more than one quirk . at least at eraly acess . is it changed or this is a mod?
what a gigachad
"242 in heal"...THAT NOT HOW LEPROSY WORKS!!!!
-looks at intestines with faces on them- I don't think we're in the land of makes sense anymore.
How do you lock in multiple positive quirks? Right now I can only lock in one?
Happens naturally when playing
@@loafofbread9400 since when? I've got like 1000 candles sitting in the altar with no more than 1 locked quirk. Can you not only lock quirks with hospital?
@@SCP-up4ot save edited
You can't, the fight is designed as most advantageous for Leper so that he has a fighting chance. The locked quirks are there because of some technical difficulties, but they don't change anything in the grand scheme of things as negative quirks via meltdowns etc are still applied. It was just to make my life a bit easier.
@@iliasalice6322 multiple quirks can be locked in just not in hospital
242 health. Mf turned Baldwin into a goddamn Boss in his own right.
this character is like deadpool
Based
Description: Everything showcased in the video is technically achievable by normal means.
Three locked positive quirks: are we a joke?
They do not impact the results of a fight at all. I just locked them all to make the save editing a little easier for myself. All effects of meltdowns still override them and/or still apply the negative effects that as is evident are empty and ready to be filled with that sweet sweet shattered will.
Why didnt Redhook sponsor this guy instead?
This is so badass
I feel like using adrenaline vial or anything to damage the lil shit on the back could be more useful
Nice all locked Quirks))))). Only 1 locked could be, seems like stats were edited. But still impressive.
Hai Yai Forces.
How did you get there with no mates?
Edited the save file, alternatively kill them off on the two cultist encounters before the boss.
Как ты закрепил 3 черты?
Omg he's literally me
Tf you mean 242 of self-healing.
how did you cheat three locked quirks?
This isnt cheat.
You should rename him guts
Guys can you "fire" the other teammates? Or just dont pick them up at the inn? Or you have to let them die at the fist battle after leaving inn?
He can solo the boss of the first game i suppose this shouldnt surprise me xD
no matter wha gender, type or platform, I FUCKING BOSS THAT KEEP SPAMING ADD SPAWN.
Deus vult
