you could here the micro studder in his voice right before he says "gamers" when you say degenerate, it seems he is using your videos with closed captions turned on as scripts that he hasnt even practiced , i mean its really dirty but kinda of ingenious, i would have never though to do this , but this is definitely minimum effort content unlike anything ive ever imagined before .

Sorry to hear about this Zach, thanks for bringing this into the light! His content never crossed my feed but now that I know, I'll be sure to avoid him and his content. Personally, makes me feel pretty terrible that creators like me can try to make it on this platform with proper original content and still struggle horribly. 400+ vids over the last 7+ years and only barely inching close to 40k subs. I used to be subbed to this guy and I always thought it was suspicious when he would put out a short talking about the exact same topic you mentioned before. I thought I was a bit crazy to believe that but now I know it's true. It's unbelievable the length people will avoid researching for a video just for attention.

Ever since the hbomberguy UA-cam plagiarism video came out, I've seen multiple of these other videos exposing certain creators for plagiarism across various topics and niches. Another example is a recent video I saw made by JaguarGator9, which is over 1.5 hours long discussing a certain content creator who basically stole most of his content from Wikipedia and other articles regarding sports and politics. Plagiarism really is a SERIOUS issue and I'm glad that so many other content creators like you are bringing this to light. Thank you.

Dude, as a fellow tech youtuber I FEEL YOU. It happened to me, BUT in reverse of your case my copycat has more than 300k subs while I have 10k. But they ran out of ideas, and started copying some of my videos or themes. IF there is anything I can take as good out of this.... is that it means your content is good, that's why they copy. Keep doing what you do, you are raising the bar sir. Eventually copycats won't be able to catch up. I will go to his videos to protect your IP.
Love the ZTT videos. Frustrating to see someone outright stealing like this. Hope YT does something about it.

Bro, Im a mod of a buy/sell Facebook group and the amount of people that legitimately rip the hell off of your builds is absolutely ridiculous. To make things worse, they not ONLY rip off your builds but they do WORSE on SO MANY LEVELS BOTH aesthetically AND performance. There's a difference between replicating a PC and replicating video content. It's called popularity. If parts are aesthetically pleasing to many, of course you're gonna use it and no-one can stop you. Content stealing is way different.
@@crimson0411 there's nothing wrong with using his builds as inspiration or for getting ideas for builds whatsoever. It's the fact that these people turn around and claim that THEY came up with the build to begin with, all the while claiming to be a "pro" when their aesthetics and performance are SO below what ZTT does it's laughable and then when I confront them outright like "ztt did this exact build and you ripped off it" they have the audacity to sit there and claim that NO they did it all originally themselves-- and in some cases legitimately the builds they release practically immediately follow video releases from ztt. As to your question as to what group specifically the group is called PC & Gaming Parts. Only recently have the active members there have gained the ability to control the page/chat, but we are actively working towards trying to build a general community to educate people on tech overall while advising on how to specifically approach buying and selling PCs or components either online or in person to increase the overall safety of doing so because there are so many friggen scammers out there it's ridiculous. We also regularly call people out on builds where it's like anyone that's going to buy such and such build is getting hella ripped off because for instance why would you do a b550 with an r7 5700x + 3060ti on a 550-600w PSU? Like sure it'll run, but you aren't going to get optimal performance and if the customer goes to upgrade the GPU (as usually that's one of the first things people upgrade) they're now stuck having to rebuild the entire pc as a whole which, IMO, violates rule 1 of building: DBAA (don't be an asshole) and rule 2) just because you *can* doesn't mean that you *should*

But these people when called out literally sit there and deny deny deny when it's blatantly obvious that's what they did meanwhile ultra cheaping out on components that kinda isn't ok. But, 100% I agree that content creation stealing is absolutely in its own realm of effed up and not ok.

It sucks to have your work stolen and I really hope this does get settled fast. That said I did mention this in one of your shorts I think you could do better referencing or linking the articles you site when you make your shorts. You show images of the articles that you're going off of or site specific videos in some cases hardware unboxed. I feel it only fair that you link so that people at least get to support the place you yourself took the information from.

Thanks for the honest feedback. No vertical video platform lets you hyperlink anymore, so I don't really see the point. There's not that many people that would copy the text and then paste it in a browser.

I’m not Zach but if you’re buying from micro center it should be possible if you’re okay not getting the newest gen things and what’s in stock at your micro center , this is base the brand ne near me : i3 10 th ($80) motherboard (80-100) gen rx 6600 ($200) 16 gb ram ($30-40) 500 watt psu ($40 60), 1 tb SSD ($30-40) case ($50-70) . Then for windows you can make an iso file from Microsoft and get a windows key for like $15

Hey Zack, question. I upgraded my mobo/cpu and in the process I wasn’t able to use my hard drives unless they were completely wiped. Is there a work around for this?
I have always done have a wipe on a mobo swap you don't need one with cpu change. Unless you're doing a cpu change and you're going from PCIe Gen3 to Gen4. I would reinstall you graphic driver. I am not really sure about that. With that being said go to your User folder copy all the folders, except: AppData, Onedrive, Searches. To a separate USB 3.2 drive 5Gb or 10Gb would be best. The in the new User folder copy back the folder contents to the receptive folders. Guys jump in if I made this to complicated.

Commenting on his videos, good or bad, is still engagement, anf YT thinks that the video is doing well. The worst thing that happens to a video is when someone opens a video and leaves it after 15 seconds, then YT thinks that people don't like it and then YT doesn't push it to more audience.
