The Tyga Usb-C mic is not available in Germany, so I can not test it. I tried the Sennheiser USB-C Mic which has extreme distortion, not usable at all.
I just want to say thank you for taking out alot of the work for me and I have made up my mind about the dji mics, just have to be careful with them. Amazing work you earned urself a subscriber today
Just bought the Action 3 and the DJI Mics. Plan to try out the magnet on the chins windshield, then velcro/dual lock the mic into the inside of the helmet, and lastly, might adhesive cold-shoe the outside of the helmet and have a lav mic running in IF the dji transmitter doesnt fit inside the helmet nicely. But I have a feeling I wont need to mess with any velcro/duallock/adhesives. Gonna throw 1 transmitter in backpack and 1 in helmet to achieve engine sound + voice. Excited.
I really appreciate your video, this a very helpful and professional test of mics for the Osmo Action 3, I've had this camera for about a year, moved away from a GoPro because as you know is so unreliable, it messed up in my content a lot of times so I went for the OA3, but I also run into the audio issues, I really love the camera, video quality, battery, magnetic mount, everything. I have also tried with a lot of mics and adapters but wasn't able to crack the code as you did haha. It looks like the only way to get better audio with the OA3 is to "overwrite" the audio chip the camera has, like using the Rode AI or the DJI Wireless mic, so the audio gets recorded by an "external" hardware... Thanks again for your video, I just watched the other video you have testing the high SPL mic but that is very expensive for me, trying to find another option, I'm looking at the old Sennheiser ME2 witch has 130 max spl + Rode AI, lets see how it goes. Ps. You sir just got a new suscriber here! Greetings from Mexico City!

@@Marc.Stones Oh that's great! So do you think it's worth the upgrade to get better audio or you will keep the OA3 with the Rode AI setup? Yes, I did.
@@Marc.Stones i see, maybe the decibel level settings. I got my gopro hero 10 with media mod and Rode Lavalier ii, i don't have any issues or clipping.
I used the Rode mic with the GoPro 11 with the media mod before and had only clipping at high speed. The automatic levelling in the GoPro seems to work better than the manual levelling in the DJI Action
@@Marc.Stones hmmn, ok. I don't have any issues at high speed especially 100-140kph. The sounds was fine, anyway enjoy and ride safe.
you too ✌
Dji mic is the best
Nice video!
My solution? External record 😉
And the DJI A3 keeps it's permeability... In my 12th april video, I'll show the results... check it out 😊
Sounds good in your video. I still look for a small setup inside my helmet, there will be another video soon.
Where did you put the DJI mic at in your helmet?
Behind the chin curtain
How did you change audio level on camera
Just plug in a USB C micro and go to the settings, there is a category for the audio.

Hello Marc Stones,
Knock....Knock.....
Congratulation i am your new subcriber .
I am impressed with how you showcased all the tests with all the possibilites.
I am new to moto-vlogging.
I am just searching for a good wireless mic for my moto vlogging.
This video is a complete guide to me and others also.
Once my budget allows i will definitely check on either with dji mic or the setup you shown us in last with Rode.
Thank you😀🏍
Thanks a lot :-)
Did you ever find a simple solution, or has DJI just made it impossible??? Why does DJI hate motorcyclists so much?
gute Übersicht ❤, als Radfahrer reicht mir eine billig Lösung 😊
❤
At the last moment
I'm sad because of your dji mic screen😢😢
It is repaired now, but costs 90 Euro :-)
Sounds good 🙂🙂
Take love from Bangladesh💜💜
👍for the effort
One Like for your Broken Receiver😂
Media Mode is the dumbest thing Gopro invented.
