As a senior in my 70s, I do try to keep up with technology as best I can. Thank you so much for the excellent quality video which has allowed me to add my favourite tunes to my MP3 player.
@@commemorative well technically it isnt if he does that with his cds. im currently ripping all my cds to put on my phone cuz i dont feel like downloading illegally cuz it takes so long to download that amount of songs
Thank you so much! My brother was part of the German Indy group Nocturn in the mid 90's. I had two of their CD's and he wanted me to copy and send the tracks to him (I live in NYC and he in Portugal and Amsterdam). He got all excited that I still have his music, because he has nothing left. I am ripping while typing this and I am so glad it works!!! Thanking you 4.5 years later after you posted this video! Still useful when dealing with "old technology"! The CD's are laying around for months now, not being able to straight copy! He'll freak out when I send him the tracks!
Thanks to you and all the UA-cam expects who take the time to put these things together and make life easier for those of us more technically challenged
It had been so long since I had done this that I totally blanked. This was simple and very helpful. Thank you! edit: forgot to add, that I still have Windows 7 (am soon being dragged kicking and screaming into Windows 10 though - ugh!) but wanted to add that these instructions also work perfectly for Windows 7 as well. The only difference is just either to look for the Windows Media Player icon at the bottom bar, or click on start and type it into the dialog box to access it.
/windows 19 is brilliant. Don't be talked into upgrading to Windows 11. It's awful, full of ads and screens popping up everywhere and interfereing with your work.
THANKS BRO YOU ARE AWESOME I HAVE 30 CDS AND HAVING NO WAY TO COPY THESE SONGS IN MY PC ..I LEARNED FROM YOUR VIDEO .THANKS AGAIN ROCKSTAR KEEP GROWING
You did a great job! I wish all tutorials were this step by step. I’m a Mac guy who’s using a PC for the first time in ten years for work and had no idea anymore how to rip tracks into Windows Media... Thanks Again!
Thank you for being thorough and slow with the explanation; showing each and every step. This video was very helpful. I followed your instructions and it worked perfectly! Thank you!!!
Your video delivers what it says. I just wanted to add that you can do this cheaply even if you have a modern Windows laptop that doesn't have a CD/DVD slot. Simply grab an old internal CD slot unit from an old Windows computer, and buy online a 'slimline sata to usb' adapter be sure to get one with 2 usb cables, those with a single USB cable may not work. Then plug both USB cables into two usb ports of your laptop and do as shown in this video.
Very good and concise instructions for this old fart who is so illiterate when it coms to electronics. Gonna try it right now as I have several CF's that I want to transfer to the pc. Hope it works for me.
Thanks man! I was just ripping off old music that I used to listen to when I was waayyy younger, and I wanted to listen to them but my dad needed the CDs, so this helped, thank you again! Greetings from Poland ;)
Excellent instructional video which clearly and quickly showed me how to use Windows Media Player to rip music CDs to my computer. I have never been a fan of iTunes
Thank you for this tutorial. I have been wanting to rip my CD's so that I can transfer my music to my smartphone. I hate listening to music on streaming apps, as I prefer offline music listening. I can skip a song if I want to, I don't need WiFi, and its perfectly legal. Streaming apps are dumb!!
TO ETG : Thank you so much for your great explanation on how to. I was able to follow step by step and accomplished the task with absolutely no stress. Your video is perfectly explained.
Good thing I held onto my CDs... With evolution of cloud based service like UA-cam I found out the hard way, much of my music CDs were ripped in WMA format which unfortunately was not able to upload to YTMusic. After conversion I was losing all of the MetaData. I will hopefully reRip into mp3 with data intact and a higher bitrate and upload. Thanks
Finally! This video is somewhat easy to work with than other stupid shit that OTHERS do to make things more complicated! We can work with this with LESS bullshit! Thx uploader!

Is it legal or illegal?
Will the songs still be in the cd or it will be moved?
a trick: watch movies on kaldroStream. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Jesiah Tony Yup, I have been watching on Kaldrostream for years myself =)
@Jesiah Tony Definitely, have been watching on kaldrostream for since december myself :D

That's great to hear! But I work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and I have a warrant for your arrest for piracy.
