Minus the Bluetooth programming unit, we're both using the same motor/esc set-up

You just got one more Subscriber! ;) I see you are from the UK. I've been living in Scotland for quite some time before moving to Portugal. I am looking forward to visit the UK relating to RC Drift stuff in the future. Who knows may meet one day! ;) P.S. Are you running this setup already or getting it ready? If running what are your esc settings? Would be interesting to compare and experiment. P.S.S. Happy New Year! ;)

@UldisMelderis Thank you so much for subscribing.
Still early days of the channel, I will add more content over time. So many ideas, yet so little time.
That's crazy, how long have you been living in Portugal?
There is a really big drift scene here, in the UK. Especially the Midlands. I'm actually returning back to RC Drifting from 14 or so years out of it, used to competitively Drift 4WD in the D1RC. Its all changed so much.
I'm still playing with my settings on the ESC. No Turbo or Boost as I cannot get the power down. Just doesn't grip from the off. I'm having fun planning a more Comp style focused RMX right now.. watch this space!
Happy New Year, also! It would be great if you were to come on over and see the scene. Be great to meet yourself!

@Studio8ightyThre3 4 years already in PT, time goes fast.
Yeah the drift level in the UK is the one that attracts me the most to go and visit it. There is much to learn and soak in to improve this space globally! But I am definitely up to it! ;)
Yeah, it feels like 4WD drift is leaving the space, but I am still up to the challenge of building also at least one 4WD drift car. At least get the experience and feel what it is like.

@@UldisMelderis a 4WD chassis would still make for a "basher" chassis while you're unable to get to a club while not damaging your better 2WD chassis.
Give me a shout if you venture on over for a holiday. I'm finding my feet again within the hobby. Hope to be visiting more venues throughout 2025.. hope to film it, too. Pop the footage out on UA-cam and Instagram.
Would love to be good enough one day to participate at Crossgames.

those boost settings especially the rpm range is questionable to say the least

I see what you are talking about, I will make adjustments in the next video. It would be great if you could also explain why lower rpm is beneficial and what range we are looking at?
