- The House of Lords has adjourned ahead of the return of the Rwanda Bill after MPs again rejected changes made by peers.
MPs have voted 305 to 234, majority 71, to reject Lords Amendment 10F to the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill, which proposed an exemption for agents, allies and employees of the UK overseas, such as Afghans who fought alongside the British armed forces, from being removed to Rwanda.
TalkTV’s Mike Graham discusses this further with his panellists.

if it did go ahead in 12 weeks ,the last 12 weeks 4200 ,Rwanda will only take 300 tops, doesn't make any sense.
uncapped
They could stop the boats by passing a security law for the uk

Agree
Why does the UK not process the asylum seekers like any other country.
I'm sure Rishi is on that boat in the thumbnail 😂
The money could have been spent on the nhs.
With this years rise it will be £200 billion 😮how much more do you think they should get
they could toe the boats back cheaper option before they reach the shores
Or the potholes
The NHS still wouldn't manage with the mass illegal migrants coming through
Africans,Latino americano will can come to school in Eastern Europe, schools are free, health care is free, in Eastern Europe we have the lowest unemployment rate, shops are open on Sundays, you can earn extra money on weekends. Eastern Europe, Intermarium countries need workers for factories in industry, processing, for highway construction, road traffic, paving stone sidewalks, infrastructure
The House of Lord's should not be filled with politicians, it should be filled with people who have accomplished something in life that benefits the UK, whether through work or acts of goodness.
Rishi is the only doer .. All others are lazy shammers
What is the point of the Lords if the House of Commons can just continually ignore them and ultimately put whatever awful law through irrespectively they want.
The rowanda Bill was already passed years ago and we have the legal right to turn the boats around so why ain't they mmmmm 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Incorrect reporting! Check the "principle of non-refoulement under international human rights law" - persons cannot be returned to a country wherein they would face persecution.
Midnight policemen?
Is there a ransom threat in the house of Lords for keeping the criminal seekers in the UK.
