But some stinkers. - Yueyang line: Always smoked up or able to slot Radar. Deep water torps with torp reload booster. Solid line overall. B Tier: - Harugumo line: Giga Dakka. But a bit powercrept and T6&7 are torp boats for some weird reason. - Italian DDs: Can brutally slap with SAP. Decent line. - Grozowoi line: Nice alrounders with lots of goodies. Also Muavenet was one of the single most horrendous experiences i've ever had in this game, but luckily it's at tier 5 and won't take long at all to grind through, but for a new f2p player without boosters or free exp its going to be rough. Pretty much every line in the game has a stinker *somewhere,* you just have to hope it's somewhere in the lower tiers so it won't take forever to get through. Unless you picked the Yodo line, in which case almost every ship is agony and you need to rethink the decisions that led you to this point in life.
Agree with British, they are amazing. There are a couple of Tiers I do not like in Kleber line; but again I would agree it is amazing. I find the Gdansk line to be god awful. I do agree this company just hates Germany. I love the Z-46 and it is one of my favorites. I would LOVE if they made a BETTER version of this t T10. I was excited about the Z-42 and while I still do enjoy it; it just got nerfed into the ground for basically no valid reason. Same hull as Z-46 which is a tier lower but hey, our concealment sucks because reasons. Also, your gun traverse is a nightmare and your torps are nerfed for no logical reason at all... both in range, reload and damage. (Probably speed too not sure off the top of my head) This ship alone proves Wargaming hates Germany. They made it pretty good and were like "OMG that was close we almost released a good ship with no huge flaws for Germany"
Jäger, Yugomo, Shima and Leg Mod Gearing outspot all your S tier ships. You will just die to CA`s without seeing them. The 15sec Gdansk Radar is not enough to kill them.
The best line is the Gdansk line as of right now. The guns are so ridiculously powerful, combined with good torpedoes, radar, and smoke. It's just unfair.
IT DD line can be really fun to play. You can make them work in tier 7-8 Ranked, but 9-10 Ranked would be rough, with all the OP hydro and radar DDs. Thanks for the review, but if you could specify ship play in Random vs Ranked that would be really helpful.
Trenlass i am really interested in grinding the grozovoi line... basically yeh it does have less than normal consumables but it has range and railguns to decently farm at chill ranges and good torp range ..GGs🎉
Always happy to see that people that are good at this game appreciate Elbing, and see it as a Very powerfull ship, it sucks as a DD tho, but this ship is a goddamn monster, very impactfull, specially with the legmod
ussr dds have improved armor too, but i think the elbing is the more "cruiser like" dd, because have actual usefull guns, even in low dpm, the accuacy and speed of the sheel are incredible
in regards to the Halland, ive had all my lexington planes stripped so many times by that thing. is the play to just avoid it entirely? is it just a tier issue? or am i missing some skill to playing cvs
While it might be just how long they've been in the game, but I believe the Shimakaze is the most played T10 in the game. While that doesn't mean more are playing it at present, his has more total games than any other. Personally, I like the hybrid DDs, that can do both and it shows in my stats, but at T10 only, my highest win rates are in Kleber and Ragnar.
Shimakaze is the most recently played ship of all tiers and types, except on the asia server where it's fourth, behind Yamato, Colombo and Wisconsin. People seem to really like the ship :)
have you ever considered doing replay reviews? to help new players learn how to play the game better. i haven't seen many wows content creators doing this.
Halland will melt T8 planes. T10 might stand a chance, but with heavy loses, especially with more brittle planes like those of Japan or German. No good CV player will attack area with Halland anywhere near (unless forced to).
No way bro, we do not need more stealth in the game for torpedos. It’s already impossible to push in a BB and more stealth on torpedos would make them unplayable.

I think the harugumo line deserves A or even S tier because of akizuki and kitakaze, some of if not the best gunboats at their tier

Btw gearing line just needs the shell arcs fixed and it will have much higher effective dpm

the difference is only the tier 10 has better armor unlike the elbing line where every ship has better armor :D

The Chinese (Pan Asian) tier 9? with 5.7 km concealment with deep water tops, reload booster, smoke can be a rude surprise. It's a nice line IMO.
