From my experience, stay on cloud engineering path for some time, get more skills like linux, infrastructure as code, system design, build solutions on the side, you need to understand how everything works in cloud and just in general the whole ecosystem. Start slowly preparing for solutions architect certification or more focused one like associate developer. Don’t forget about SDLC (software development life cycle), and some other skills which will complement your tech skills. Wishing you all the best!
