Thank you! Wife & I just got two Talaria Sting R’s delivered 2-days ago and had purchased the GritShift Blinders w/ switches at the same time. Just haven’t installed them yet…. Was waiting til weekend and wanted to see if anyone had a nice succinct instructional video on this little job. Thank you again!😊
It's nice to see the emerging Talaria community starting to mod their bike at the same time I am too. Almost feel like pioneers of sorts starting out on a relatively new bike. I'm going to do this too on my bike, but with a unit for turn signals and a horn as well. Got an LED KC Daylighter which should look good and be right between the stock and that blinder in terms of light output and power consumption.
What about killing the tail light at the same time? I guess I need to run my own wiring from the switch to the tail light or is there a plug and play kit out there? I have a Talaria Sting R Mx4
I think telaria flipped my break and headlight connector at assembly. This plug doesn’t match my stock one and the shape is way different but my brake light has the correct oval shape
@@SESSIONS73 It would be nice... Unfortunately, I heard from another youtuber (@Freer Fixed iT) that it seems like once you cut it there's no going back.🤷♂
Did the kit come with an led flasher module? Is one needed for the kit, or do the leds in the turn signals flash in their own without the flashing module?

Oh nice! I will be sharing as I go. It's fun to mod out these bikes.
@@SESSIONS73 yes sir!
I was on Ogden last week. Had breakfast at the Rusty Spoon. What a great place. Thanks for the videos.
Welcome back. Never eaten there. I should since it moved south.

Why would u start from a cut on the wire we have to find, show us you finding it so we don’t have to?
Great instruction, good job! Now take the brake sensor wires out so you can feather the rear break with out killing the motor.
Working up to that, for sure.
It hurts the motor?
Hmm my bracket doesnt fit with the Hardware supplied by Gritshift for the MX4
1st 😎 great videos man, keep up the great work 👍
You found it before it's live. You deserve First.
I have the turn signal kit from emx and i havent put it on yet, am i also gonna need this switch to turn lights on or off?

Is it the new Talaria?
I'd like to do this running it to the brown wire to easily switch modes back and forth from the handlebars - plausable?
That would be a nice feature. I am sure a simple on/off switch would do the trick, wouldn't you?

Hey man, great video!
Do you know if the kanebilt for the Surron would fit the talaria?
Thanks. I’m positive it will. Same headlight connectors
You see the difference in driving distance or What is the other reason to do this?
Stealth mode. And yeah it saves a percent or two.
Did the kit come with an led flasher module? Is one needed for the kit, or do the leds in the turn signals flash in their own without the flashing module?
This doesn't have any blinkers attached. It's just the headlight.
It turns my bike on and off with the switch now
Is it the same for the mx3
Yeah, this is the mx3
Does that GritShift switch turn off the break light as well ?
Nope, just the headlight.
Do a video on a break light kill switch.@@SESSIONS73
can you send the link for the on off switch
Here you go: gritshift.com/collections/talaria-sting/products/gritshift-slender-headlight-kill-switch-e-bike
hey, i could not get talaria parts atm. will sur ron parts be compatible for this?
In this case, they are. The light switch uses the same connectors. Other parts, like fenders, may not be compatible.
@@SESSIONS73 thank you so much, this is very helpful!
