That's awesome! I never thought to use C4FM on 10M. Hopefully, Yaesu will continue to sell the FT-991A for some time. Or, come out with something new that's comparable. It seems to be the only radio on the market that offers that kind of flexibility.

I hope they keep this radio. just update it. no need for the sweep button. and maybe a little bigger screen.
This is the main reason why I would buy an FT991.

Do you have a GPS attached? Does the other station have to? Wondering how it gets the distance.
You can manually enter your lat and long in the menu and if the other station has done likewise then the distance is shown.
