Another thing great about Mexico, still so many individual small businesses and farmers selling their goods, to me that equals better quality and taste, I would have bought that key lime pie. I bet the sugar free is good too.The sausage, honey, vegan burgers, ice cream, all the sauces, tacos, all of the organic stuff, the cheese, is probably awesome, the leather goods in Mexico are wonderful and a fraction of the price. The music was really good too, you really live in, what to me is paradise, the culture there is still family oriented, warm and loving, people are laid back, this is what life should be like. Thank you both for doing this tour and showing so much, it was almost like being there. 😊
Very encouraging to see that entrepreneurship is truly providing opportunity & thriving the way it used to be in America. "Garage" startups are nearly impossible now & THIS is what made America great; competition with little or no interference by onerous gov. oversight & expensive licensing fees & bureaucratic paper- chase , that strength & soul sapping exercise in futility. Thanks for showing us around !
Yes , in DEED! I love the hard working , yet generous & life loving family ethic of the Mexican people! They are masterful craftsmen ,practical & frugal by necessity & are thus able to save & prosper in a way that is almost impossible for the avg. guy to do here now! As you said in one of your previous vids . It truly is a time machine dial turned back to the self reliant , frugal , generous ways of America that's gone ! As a rule they are not jealous or envious of the gringo coming down there with dollars , but instead welcome you & make you feel at home !
I'm really enjoying all the market, flea market & shop videos, not to mention all the walks, drives and bike rides around town. So fun! Just watched your entire Oaxaca playlist over the last few days. That was such a fun series of videos! Made me so homesick. I'm from Canada, but I think I left my heart in Oaxaca about 20 years ago. 😂 Thanks for all of these videos! My partner and I are planning a move in a few years. He's not familiar with México, so he's getting an education through your videos, (amongst others). You make it sound extremely appealing to him, so thank you for that, too! 😊
Btw, as good as I've done so far here in Mexico, I still haven't found my Mexican lady. So, kudos to you, Jose, for finding Christian. She seems like a sweet girl and perfect for you. Peace
Yeah this is an older video and things have changed a lot since then. I hear now there are various locations as well and more variety. Prices just depends on the vendor and the items being sold. This is reminding me I should go revisit the slow foods market and see how things are going these days. Thanks for the input!
You have a pretty little girl friend ,she is full of intelligence ,intellect and make sure you tell the two girls singing & playing instruments thay are very good & much love to both. from Sacto,CA.
It has remained open, but not as many stalls are there as there usually are, and less people all together. But as with everything it will only be temporary
This was a great idea, thanks for making this. I was searching for the pet rescue folks, their organization's name, and I came across your video. I would like to give a big shout out to these folks who rescue sweet street dogs and find forever homes. I think they could use a little extra support - maybe that could be another exclusive story on street dogs, adoption, and these wonderful people? They are so kind- hearted. I meet them every time I come to the market and always fall in love with their dogs. Thanks again for making the video!! Best, Jill Medina Here is their link: animalrescuebonniebeach.com/

Yes it is one of my favorite places in the city as well!
I thought this place looked familiar. Had lunch at that corner restaurant last year. Across street from leather wallets. Must go on a Saturday

How has the Farmers Market been impacted by the quarantine?
