Absolutely love you guys.. Wife & I logged 156mi. hiking this year. We are both in recovery & being out there is a huge part of our sobriety as both of you are on days we are not out there & can escape by following you. We also decided to switch from photos to video in order to save memories. We have hiked some of the same trails as you & you have shown us a few for this year. Hope to bump into you out there & thanks for all you do

Ok I have to tell I am pretty envious right now, pork belly taco! I guess I'll be smoking some pork belly this week. Cool how they make the marquesitas cone for you fresh. From the into, I very much thought you guys were having tacos made with squid ink due to the black colour and I was thinking you were brave Kathryn. Never would have known those ingredients could make the black sauce! I've had the Sopa de Lima when I went to Costa Rica. I couldn't remember what it was called on the menu, but its stuck with me for the years as it was that good (I'm a sucker for soup) and today I've learnt what it was after watching you guys eat it! 🙌 Really enjoyed this video, love a good nosey around a market and I can't help but chuckle over how different actual Mexican food is in comparison to the butchered Mexican food you find in the 'international foods' isle in the supermarket! I'm pleased I ate dinner before sitting down to watch this! 🤣

Man there is no food like that in the USA the richest country but we are one of the worst countries in food, so sad but good for you guys

We’ll agree with that. Food in the US compared to many countries over seas is lacking for sure. That’s something we’ve noticed in our travels. Other cultures just seem to take more pride and care in their food quality and preparation

It wasn't that much spread out over a few days! And we walked A LOT in Mérida, so we were always hungry!

I love you guys. If you guys didn't exercise all the food you eat, you guys would be a size of a burn. Tell your husband the beard is not working out for him. It is a want to be Baird. Have a great trip. Be safe.

If you loved us, you wouldn’t insult our appearance. I like my facial hair and Kathryn personally loves it and that’s all that matters to me!

Your food reviews are my least favorite part of your videos. You do a good job, but I’m just not interested

We make the videos that we want to make and do activities that interest us and you're welcome to skip it if it doesn't interest you. After how hard we work to make our videos, it is hurtful to get comments like this. We see lots of things online that we don’t particularly care for, but we keep our negative opinions and thoughts to ourselves.

None of the food stalls at Mercado Santiago are good. The place is huge, but they only have about 25 small tables. It's mostly standup eating.

FYI, 95% of the music you chose to include in your vlog was not Mexican music. It was Puerto Rican and Cuban.

We have very limited options when it comes to music we can legally use on UA-cam. Our music provider does not classify by specific countries, so we chose music that we liked and fit the vibe we wanted.
