just a random who found this video in his recommended feed here, but watching this has been such a strange experience. on one hand, this is my first exposure to this channel so i don’t have any emotional connection but i feel compelled to feel happy for you all. on the other hand, i’m an aspiring indie filmmaker myself (emphasis on indie and aspiring) and have been looking at film festivals as generally a bad idea compared to self publishing on a site like youtube. basically, what im saying is you guys are making me feel all warm and fuzzy and oddly proud of strangers i’ve never met for the hard work you’ve done but your actively dismantling my understanding about the industry. im sure your extremely busy with the documentary about making human resources (gonna watch after this) and other projects but if theres any way i could pick someone on this teams brain about the film festival experience i would be absolutely honored.
Stop why am I crying!!! What a touching story... I can only imagine how you and the crew felt during the *entire* process. Thank you for making this video and inspiring all of our future filmmakers by showing that this is a very possible outcome in a world where it can feel very impossible. This is my first time watching a video of yours (shoutout YT recommended) but I wish you nothing but success!
@@LaurenRyan so glad the algorithm has connected us!!!! I am so proud of this documentary and continuing to receive comments like this makes it all worth it. I can’t wait to keep making vids and sharing the journey!!
Another random who saw this pop up and just wanted to say congratulations on all of the hard work and for sticking it out for the journey! I’ll definitely check the movie and other videos in the series out!
This is fantastic man. This video got recommended to me out of nowhere and I'm very glad that it did. I've been making movies for over a decade with minimal success, but to have a red carpet premiere like that is a big dream of mine. Great video! Can't wait to see what y'all do next.
ngl as a newly graduated film student this video made me so emotional and happy for you guys. I know the struggle, and I know how much hard work it is. You guys did it! Congrats 🎉
I just stumbled across this without any prior knowledge of Human Resources or you guys. But these 30minutes just made me cry. I will for sure check out the movie in the next few days. You guys are super inspiring! Love from Austria ~Georg
So inspiring man. I can’t help but feel so proud of you and your teams work. Knowing what you all have been able to accomplish, regardless of budgeting, you pushed through. Coming from an aspiring SoCal filmmaker, I could imagine how surreal everything has felt over the course of your entire journey. Congratulations on this big win. I know this might be a stretch but, if there’s any way to reach out to just volunteer on a future project, and I’d be more than happy to lend a hand. :)
Thank you for the incredible comment - I’m always looking for up and coming artists to help out so you absolutely should reach out over IG!!!! You rock!!!! Good luck in your filmmaking journey
Man, I just found your channel yesterday and I have to say your editing and production quality on these videos is top tier. It's obvious you really care about everything you create and I respect that heavily. Congrats on the success of HR, I'll be giving it a watch as soon as I get some free time. Can't wait to see what's next!
Man, this is so inspiring. Over an hour of well documented and extremely well edited BTS of how you pulled off a feature film before 20? Wild. Keep making videos, UA-cam needs more of this type of content. Your editing style is super engaging and somehow always feels personal and honest. Would love to see more into your experience working in film. Congrats on the movie too, what an accomplishment. P.S, still can't believe you filmed during business hours, run and gun filmmaking at its finest.
Super duper appreciate you watching my friend. Welcome to the channel!!!! Just getting started!!!! It was such a beast to tackle this documentary but I couldn’t be more proud that it’s done and out there. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Thank you again

I have 4 walled a cinema next week for my cast and crew showing of my $1600 feature... I submitted to festivals that don't limit to premiere so I cannot distribute at the same time.
It's crucial to know that the important festivals want premieres! So send your movie first to the international A-Festivals (worldwide) or at least festivals with coverage from industry professionals and press! If that is not working out, send the film next year to the very little / amateurish festivals.
STOP EVERYTHING BRADEN HAS UPLOADED A VIDEO! As expected, this was INCREDIBLE. Our highlights: the boat animation at the beginning, the match cuts at 2:21, so many emotions at the movie premiere... just ALL of the effects and the entire video! This is just such a good story and you all did an amazing job 🥲
