add 1/2 tsp of black pepper, 1 Tbs of plain tomato sauce, and just a touch of one of the following -- maple syrup or honey or brown sugar( be very very sparing with the sweet stuff you just want a faint hint so people ask what your secret is )
Try adding 1 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of corn syrup. Bring to a boil then thicken the sauce with 1/4 cup water mixed with a heaping spoon full of corn starch (stir as you add slowly). Sauce should be much thicker now. If not add a little more water/corn starch mixture. After it cools enough to where steam isn't coming off, add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Trust me. Best. Wing. Sauce. Ever. I smoke my wings for 2 hours, then crisp them up in the oven at 400 for about 10 or so min. Wings are now my most favorite meat to smoke. I also preseason my wings with many different spices before smoking them. You get many different flavors in the end. So stinking good!
I do 3/4 cup of franks red hot with about 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup butter then follow my above comment. You wont be disappointed. This recipe is enough for two large packages of wings. There will be some sauce left over in the bottom of the bowl after dumping over wings. Make the sauce thick so you get as much sauce as you can on a wing.
I used your proportions but made a single serving measure. Pretty delicious! My only twist was that I added a touch of honey to caramelize only on the outside of my boneless wings. The spice and garlic interact well with a tiny hint of clovery sweetness. First you have the hot savory sauce flavor and then you bite through the skin and taste the sweetness. 🔥👌😋
Postal Barbecue I made some, very easy to do. I just changed the Franks Sauce, for my own. Since I started making my own sauce I don’t get store bought any long. Thanks again.
People are being dicks in the comments. This IS the authentic sauce recipe. I will point out however you should warm the sauce first and then add in cold butter. It creates an emulsion where the two are less likely to split. Try to not boil it either. More likely to split.
I was about to make wings before I realized I didn't have buffalo wing sauce. I was about to leave for the store and then my buddy called to ask me something and I mentioned how I was just about to leave to go to the store and then he said if you just have franks red hot sauce and butter that's all it is and i said to him no way its that's easy. now after seeing this Ill give it a try! thanks, my man!
I use to make Buffalo wings sauce Just Like Frank's 3 tbsps of Butter 1/2 cup of Frank's hot sauce 2 tsps of vinegar and some mixed some chopped fresh Glove Garlic 1 tbsp of ketchup
How to make buffalo sauce, stage one go to the store and buy pre-made buffalo sauce. On your next video you should just order buffalo chicken from Pizza Hut that would be an even easier way to make buffalo chicken.
You could also make sause by adding one cup Frank's red hot half cup Frank's Buffalo sause 4tbs Texas Pete 5tbs of butter a dash of pepper some red pepper flakes and mix your done it's really good btw
I dry brine a couple breasts yesterday. I smoked them this morning and have had them in a buttermilk marinade for the last 4 hours. 50/50 AP flour/corn starch with KFC spices... All that's left is to deep fry these babies! *BTW? I'm serving these with this 'Franks' & butter buffalo dipping sauce simply because I can't afford wings.*
Glad you liked it... I have some ideas for videos coming up for you. BUT for now did you know that I just put out two videos for Adrenaline Barbecue on their channel?... Take a look. ua-cam.com/video/tRLkb0Pc2HM/v-deo.html
Im from Rochester NY (hour away from Buffalo. Our wings are just as good) and Id do the same thing but use Anchor Bar's wing sauce instead. Its so much better than frank's
So, I started with Mayo instead of butter and when adding my hot sauce was wondering why it wasn’t looking the same color as yours….then it hit me…butter…not Mayo……
@@PostalBarbecue so I finished cooking it and the chicken after marinating it. It is not too bad honestly. A bit sweeter than normal buffalo sauce but still really good.

Add parmesan to that exact recipe and you'll be calling him a husband soon

Great alternative if you don't have any actual buffalo sauce on hand :)
I've been looking for a simple recipe Buffalo Wing Sauce, thanks for sharing.
This is my go to simple buffalo sauce combination. Hope you enjoy it.

@@PostalBarbecue if i not have red sauce then ? Any subsitute?
why would one make a video showcasing how to stir butter into store bought hot sauce.
Because its delicious. haha..
That’s what I thought
Because some people have no idea how to cook anymore questions?
Because at some point one doesn’t know what’s in wing sauce, at another point they do. Something happens in between. Genius.
heimatbund exactly like they are mindless zombies. Lol how to make buffalo wing sauce duuh add butter to a store bought hot sauce lol.
I make it using butter and Texas Pete. Thanks for the vid.

Looks great, Jabin! I think I would use this sauce on a variety of meats. Thank you for sharing!
yeah it's simple but versatile. we like to use it on a chicken, yam, bacon casserole in the winter.. YUM!
I hate that people are hating, if you dont like it, then dont watch, you dont have to show your hate.
Sometimes people don’t understand simple.
Internet was created for that. To share your hate with others, but some people are not ready for this conversation.

It was made to interact with others distantly and show others creations such as videos, pictures, music etc.
This turned out great and it was so easy!

I add crushed red pepper flakes and honey along with the franks and butter and it turns out amazing
Don't forget to add minced garlic with it too.
Awesom video and sauce will differently make with my smoked wings
Yeah this goes real nice on smoked wings as well, or anything really.

Omg I’ve never saw a easy recepie like this hope it comes in clutch it’s like it was designed for kids thx cheers
This is owsome! I put in a tablespoon of rague spaghetti sauce it thickens the sauce and it sticks to the wings !
This came in clutch. Thank you !
will try this but what heat u make the sauce?
1 part Sweet Baby Rays, 1 part RedHot, half part butter. The restaurant industry hates you now.
Haha. 🍺
Why do u got to be rude
@@rachealsnyder4251 its a joke cuz people think buffalo sauce is hard to make so they buy from fast foods or restoraunts.

Great nice and essy
can i use another type or brand hot sauce?
use whatever you like but franks or a variation of it works best.
We just tried this using homemade hot sauce and it turned out good
yeah buddy! glad it turned out great!

Thanks man, glad you stopped in to check out this simple recipe.
Are there any alternatives to RedHot? I only have tabasco sauce.
Can I use any other kind of hot sauce like Heinz? Because franks is not available in my country
Can I use any hot sauce or does it have to be specifically this
I’d stick to a cayenne based vinegar hot sauce.
@@PostalBarbecue ohh okay thank you cause here in sri lanka it's hard to find specific brands 😪😪

will it work for siracha?

Boom, Yup sometime simple is best. Glad you stopped by to check it out.
You are not making a sauce...you are adding to a sauce. Disapointing
True, however even though this is simple it's actually how to do it the right way.
The 'sauce' by itself doesnt taste that good. It needs stuff added to it.
Thats how you make sauce
We really enjoy your videos
thanks man.
Looked yummy
Thanks man, Hope it brings you great wings!
This is a simple and classic Buffalo Sauce recipe that never disappoints. QUESTION: What's typically in your buffalo sauce?
Same ingredients, not as much Frank's, for me.
oh didnt know i had to add butter, i taught the wing sauce was ready to toss into the chicken
The butter gives it a bit more of a silky texture and helps keep it thickened a bit.
Do we need to use franks or can we use any other
I think franks is best for it but really any cayenne type hotsauce works good.
Would it work with tabasco ? We don't have Frank's hot sauce in France
I personally wouldn’t use Tabasco. Franks is a cayenne based sauce so try find something similar.
@@PostalBarbecue Thank you for awnsering, but good news, I found some Frank's sauce so problem solved
@@ridipkaklao4514 awesome!!
Recipe-add butter honey to hotsauce so to give a sweet twist

So easy . Can’t wait tonight

Im kinda disappointed that you didnt add any spices or garlic or anything, then again, you did say EASY. Nice.
This can be stored up to how long??
I would add some powdered Habanero Pepper I made to that sauce
i. like. it
yes! glad you do.
Is this mild??

Would nando's hot sauce work ?
it would work but if it's a peri peri style hotsauce it will have a bit of a different flavour.
Oh ok thank and keep up the good content 👍🏾🔥
I did this but the margarine wouldn't emulsify why?
What if you don't have a whisk can you use a spoon?
I have taught that type of hot sauce in Australia can I just use normal hot sauce that we have
I would give it a try with what you have..
about how much butter for a small thing of frank's?
I couldn't tell you but simply measure it out and use the same ratio as the video. cheers.
ok thanks
Can u do this in microwave
I don’t see why not.
If you don’t have franks can u use any hot sauce
