I think they’ve been really smart about some of the decisions for the game so far (offline, no ea app no dragon age keep etc). I would have liked to have the option for the keep BUT I think they’ve done that so it can be fully offline. The game changer will be replay-ability and whether or not we can choose world states at the start of every new save etc. For all the criticism they get, with veilguard so far, BioWare have made some seemingly very sensible decisions imo and I’m actually impressed EA has been on board with it as they’re normally quite big on multiplayers and online games (to my annoyance 😅)! Still so excited for this game 🥹🥳 thank you for this video 🙏🏻

No you SHOULD still use the keep and then just reference it, while doing the DAV intro tarot cards. The keep helps one remember all your major decisions :)

Inquisition did win GOTY the year it released. The cutoff date for eligibility isn't a set date, it changes each year, but so far it's always been between November 15th-27th. For 2023, the deadline was November 17th, but I can't find anything about what it is for this year.
You're excitement for the game is infectious. :-) Thank you for the positivity (heaven knows, the world could use more of it). Like you, I'm guessing an early to mid-Nov. release date. Whenever they release it, I'm a day-1 buyer. My only "concern" about the game is that I'll enjoy the CC so much that it will take me forever to leave it. Then, I'll enjoy the Lighthouse so much, that I'll want to stay there too. Ha!
I'll happily deal with delayed releases and resorting to replays of my favourite games to allow VA's and mocap actors to strike. So much support for them. Thank you for using your platform to support them 💜💜
I dont think it will delay the game as the VA work is long done. It will however affect VA participation in the marketing. Hopefully they can interview later ❤
My bet is it will release either November 12th or November 15th. That keeps it running for game of the year, it's after N7 day and frankly it should stand alone and not need to share a release date with Inquisition. Plus, the 15th is a Friday and everyone loves to have a 3-day weekend play in the new game.
That's my guess too. I hope we're wrong 🤣
the new Assassin's Creed game comes out in November, the 12th i think, so i'm not sure BioWare would want that competition. i'm predicting mid/late October, or them not caring about qualifying for this year's GOTY awards and releasing in the first week of December for Dragon Age day.
i think they'll give us a more "official" trailer that focuses more on the plot and story in August/September that includes a release date, and it'll either be for mid/late October or the first week of December. and of course we'll see the character creator teaser before release, maybe they'll show us some more (higher level) gameplay, tease a romance scene or two, and in the weeks leading up to release we could get short companion-focused trailers like the ones we had for DAI? but i don't want to be too optimistic 😭
I have an idea. What if BioWare releases a demo for it in august. But the demo is just the character creator. Which when the game releases players will be able to import their characters from the demo. Similar to dragon dogma 2.

I sort of hope it’s near/before Halloween because of the eldritch horror vibes of the elven gods and Nevarra (at least I think it’s Nevarra in the released screenshots).
We still got Gamescom from August 21-25 which could be a great moment to continue to celebrate the upcoming release of The Veilguard AND drop that release date. I would love an October release for the game, but.. I'll just mark mid November on my calendar. I hope BioWare will be able to release a character creation tool similar to Dragon's Dogma 2. That would keep us busy until the release of the game 😅
I am convinced it will release October 22nd because my birthday is the 25th and I’m not lucky enough for it to release on my birthday but I have had luck with things I like being released near enough my birthday that I’m betting it’s 22-28th.
The Steam native part kinda gives me hope that a remaster for dao/da2 will be on the table. I long for that so much. PLS BIOWARE, PLEASE!
I'm also leaning into a early November release, but I don't think strategically that's a good thing considering AC Shadows release on november 12th. I'll hold out hope it comes in october tho, especially if it's on the 31st 'cause it's my birthday lol

I’m stoked for not having to use the EA app. I hate that damn thing 😂 as for the release I’m on the fence about predictions. I’m not sure if November is when they will release because of all the other games coming out but if they are aiming for the exact anniversary of DAI then they could. My main concern right now is I really need to know if my PC will be able to handle it. I’m very worried that I won’t be able to play it on day 1 like I have every other Dragon Age game and Mass Effect game because I can’t afford to keep up with the technology. I don’t have the xbox series X and my PC has 5-year- old specs. So I need to know this ASAP so I can at least try to plan what I’m going to do. Though I will say that I plan to buy the game for both platforms. I have every other one for both so at this point it’s just tradition for me 😊
I'm guessing a mid November release. My gut says Nov 12, but I want to be wrong haha. Sooner would be fantastic
I just hope that the tarot card world state importing system doesn’t work with just inquisition cause I’m worried about my world state in dragon age origins and dragon age 2 and the dlc’s with all of the games not being in veilguard and I want all of the choices I made in all 3 games effect dragon age veilguard not just in inquisition

Case they need to further explain how that’s going to work cause my characters were warriors, my origins character was a cousland who romanced morrigan, my hawke romanced Merrill, Bethany was in the circle, and that’s not counting the dlc to where in awakening I killed the architect (which is most likely like corrphyidiot) and made Nathaniel Howe a warden list goes on
@@Exile19941 I am almost certain it will be like the keep but just in game. They said they could not reuse the keep because of compatibility issues
@@mayacarraway8953 if it is like an offline version of the dragon keep then it should be in the main menu not during the character creator when you start the game cause that

@@Exile19941 No, that doesn’t make more sense. If the world state option pops up when you start a new game then you can modify it for your different playthroughs. If it’s just in the main menu options then it might only apply the same world state for each character you create. 🙄

i also think date relase willbe last 2 weeks of aug to end dragon age summer coverage
the only things i don't want to be confirmed is forced DEI and Woke stuff by Sweet Babe inc other wise its a no from me unless it's on game-pass, but the things i do want in DAVE is to be able to import my heroes and there stories like the mass effect games did.
