The term “Middle East” didn’t exist during Biblical times, just saying, it was all what we know as Africa. Do your research that term was coined in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s.

The main reason was white washing, that whole region was Nubia or The Kingdom of Kush, it was literally the land of Black and in the Bible they tell you that Jesus went to Egypt because he knew he would blend in.
