I have been wanting to do the same thing.. Coincedently,, my current favorite thing in MY garden, is a salvia/dahlia combo.. :) Cheers, pass along my very best wishes to this very talented gardener! Hi Rachel, this was a nice garden. I’m not much of a cactus fan but you can not deny the color of the grouping of them in this garden was beautiful. Very nice dahlias and gladioluses in this garden the colors remind you of a gorgeous sunset. I noticed that he had a fuchsia plant also which looked very nice. Thank you for this tour.

That’s another great video! I’m stuck inside in NYS with corona and the good part is that I discovered your videos and am watching too many of them! Hopefully one day I will be able to visit Ireland and see all these great things.💚And yes, of course I subscribed! Thanks for making my ordeal more bearable

Hey thank you for your kind wishes. I cannot describe my experience as anything like a battle because I am fortunate to be taking paxlovid and it’s working so I hope I am not sounding like I am complaining.

While you were praising that cordelyne I was looking to the left at those cool leaves that maybe were a Podophyllum?

I really love podophyllums too. Yes, Jimi has lots and I think I spotted some rodgersia over there to the left too.

Could you - some time - show us how you collect seeds from Dahlias.

Thank you for the suggestion. I hope to do it this autumn

Hello again, Anne Katherine. I just wanted to let you know that I had intended to make a video on collecting dahlia seed, as you requested. Unfortunately it has rained non-stop all autumn so the seed is in no fit state this year for collection. A friend advised that you can pick unripe dahlia seed heads and keep them in a glass of water (changing it every day) until the seed matures. Personally I have never tried this myself so I don't want to do it for the first time on a video. So, unfortunately, I won't be making you the video you requested this year but maybe you will try my friend's method yourself. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Rachel
