This chapter was so stupid, or writers wanted to show us how the vampires are the stupidest race in this book? either way this chapter was not so pleasant to read.
First off we send a literal human shield to a vampire hunter camp for intelligence gathering and hope that the vamp hunters are stupid enough to trust the human named as "MC's Mom" twice??? Like fool me once i'm stupid but fool me twice? that's not gonna happen buddy.
Then we get to the scenes with both cas and gabriela and i just wanna say something. This is gonna sound like a broken record but this shit is happening so many times in multiple books, either the writer who is writing the steamy scene has a major submissive fetish and likes to be dominated or the game just doesn't assume my MC is a male. I had to stop for 15 seconds during the gabriela scene cause the choices were so absurd to see man. WTF HAS HAPPENED TO THIS DAMN COMPANY
Then we get to the obvious trap because of the stupid plan and just to add some emotional depth we get seth's death happening, WHICH OBVIOUSLY IS NOT GONNA HAVE ANY IMPACT ON US CAUSE HE WAS ALMOST NON EXISTENT THIS BOOK AND THE WRITERS CHOSE TO RANDOMLY KILL HIM OFF.
So done with this book man, i just want it to end happily or something and hope the writers working on this don't pick up any fantasy or non romance book honestly.
UPDATE: IN CASE I WASN'T CRAZY I CHECKED HIMEME's CHANNEL FOR BOTH SCENES AND YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WRITING!! ITS FCKING NIGHT AND DAY??? DO THESE WRITERS DON'T KNOW WHAT GENDER MC I HAVE CHOSEN OR THEY JUST CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT??? THE WRITING TOO?? CHOICES STORIES YOU PLAY? MORE LIKE CHAPTERS: STORIES YOU PLAY.

The problem with this book is the side characters aren’t relevant in any way, shape or form, it’s chapter 13 and Seth was only in like 2 other chapters, he made no impact just like the other characters bro didn’t even talk for like half of the first book, and they expect us to care, and what happened with that libby plot and the other humans? They were in 2 chapters but it was supposed to be a big deal if you cut them off, only three characters in this whole book matter and it’s the same recycled garbage, I already chose Cas at the end of book 1 I don’t need this crap with Gabby.
YEAH where is the libby plot man? they teased us like we are making a life or death choice but she's nowhere to be seen now.

The PB writers are sloppy, they lack creativity and there's nothing more upsetting with the Gender choices the writers insist on making the MC female even though you chose a male MC. They are ruining the books
