First of all this chapter was amazing!!
It was so awesome that we got to revisit our past memories and also play as different characters to know how they have been coping up with the death of the MC...
AND YES!! THERE'S GONNA BE A BOOK 2 OMFGSBDBSD..
So many questions for next book
1- Will we able to get out of the ghost body? or stay as redfield permanently?
2- what happens to those who play book 2 with default choices? will PB give them all the characters in alive state?
3- who was that woman at the end? ghost hunter? Cora 2.0?

Our friends had no idea that the mc sacrificed himself.... Except noah because at the time of mc death only mc and noah were there. So everyone would have just assumed that mc was killed by Jane or just lost his life when the ruins collapsed

The Endless Summer, and It lives in the Woods are my favorites, The Crown and the Flame, is really good story too. Jake is my favorite character in Endless Summer, i really wish they would make them into small movies or something, but with the choices in there, it might make it hard.
In my opinion, the best ending would be to let Noah sacrifice himself while everyone else survives. My reasons: First, your surviving friends will obviously treat Noah badly, thus making his life more miserable than ever. Second, if you had a love interest, they will immediately be heartbroken after your loss.

exactly what im thinking. i just finished it earlier and it took me a long time to choose tho. but i let noah take jane's place because he obviously felt really bad by bringing everyone in there and if i sacrifice myself, he would totally blame his self. another reason is that, i have special someone (which is andy) and i thought to myself that if i didnt have a lover in the story i would take jane's place. i felt really bad for letting noah take jane's place but after watching a video in which the player's character sacrificed herself, i kinda felt relieved because noah really have a miserable life and he distanced his self away from everyone so yeah. im really emo now bc i just finished the game and i still cant get over.
I feel kinda selfish because when I played the book it was Noah who took Jane's place as the monster, the reason why I didn't take Jane's place is because Claire (my character) was looking after her neighbour's dog, she adopted a kitten and a baby crow. And pets can't look after themselves.

Since the ending only said “It Lives”, as opposed to “It Lives In the Woods”, it’s probably going to have a whole new character, plot, monster etc. Perhaps it would be called “It Lives in the River”. Though I’d honestly be disappointed if the characters were changed. I grew attached to them honestly.

Honestly, I want new characters in the next series. Because our characters in this book have suffered enough. I don't want then to experience the horror all over again
Personally I think sacrificing self was sadder end for those that feel bad for Noah because other surviving friends would treat him as a fugitive on his survival I'll have to see what it's like with Noah as redfield with all survive in final chapter to see if Devon could stand up for him and keep peace between friends and make them feel bad for Noah partly in his self sacrifice assuming no one else died
I sacrificed myself for Noah because along with Lily and Dan, he was my best friend. Throughout the game, we had spent time with each other the most, we stuck together and he had always had my back. Even he betrayed us, I wasn't mad because I understood him: he loved his sister so much and she got murdered in front of him, his whole family along with his life fell apart, his father left and his mother spent every single day yelling at him that it was all his fault. And... I don't know, I couldn't bear seeing him die, even it's all just a game.
Then at the end, I admitted that I almost regretted it (no friends ever missed me and they all moved on; Connor - my love was suffered for my dealth; Noad had to run for all his life for criminal wanted, his life was already miserable and now it was worse). But then I moved to Book 2, when I saw Noah after all took everyday to come to the woods (knowing there would have been a possibility that I may lose control and hurt him, even killed him), I knew that I choose right. Noah was... a lot sometimes and he did messed up pretty bad, but I still love him and he was still my friend, and I knew he would come for me.

I hope we will get a chance to free MC in the incoming books and reunite everyone again as it was at the beginning.....when we started reading.....Tho that may not happen till book 3.....😞. I couldn't even get mad at Noah bc when Jane showed she was still alive in that monster I felt so bad and wanted to save her. Plus, none of my friends died at the end of the book but MC.
I too am sorry for Noah...that he have to keep hiding and for MC who died at the end while the others survived (except Andy). I wish we see the friends of book 1 and 2 getting United together in book 3...

In the next book it's verified that you check on noah every now and then and make him aware about his humanity and thus making him not like Redfield or Jane. He'd still have some sanity left.
Sacrificing Thor is futile because Noah had not been a life which he deserve.. At least Thor can live happily if Noah take the place..

I have a habit of restarting chapters again and again until i get all the nerves that is possible in that chapter without taking premium choices. So those who thinks in order to save all the 7 possible survivors u need to spend money they r wrong as i never spent a single penny for it. I can't forgive myself for sacrificing the MC. That's the biggest mistake i did in this book

I was kinda upset that my MC's friends acted like nothing happened, like my MC didnt even sacrifice himself. And I also wished my MC's love life was more interesting or maybe they would have a really strong bond.

The entire point of me choosing to die was to show that it WASN'T Noah's fault, no one is to blame. I don't understand why they treat him so. I personally wouldn't feel any better if he took my place. (Jane's) Tbh I don't regret my choices but man. The only people I liked in the end was Ava and Dan. Screw the rest.
I was so sad that this book ended. I kinda wish Oman (my character) would live through the end but Book 2, I guess will do its justice. I don't know when they'll release the new It Lives book though.😕

They did to the MC the same thing they did to Jane (ignoring ) I'm glad I didn't sacrifice my character. They are the worst friends ever after all what he did for them. I'm really mad cuz I was going to sacrifice my character but when I saw how it ends 😢
I have a feeling Book 2 might be more of an indirect sequel, like with a different cast of characters and possibly a different but similar monster? (It Lives In The Lake? XD) Mainly because I’m not entirely sure how a sequel with the same characters would work out since there’s so many different directions on how it would go based on who survives and whatnot. But who knows?

I also hope if it is new characters and such, it’s still connected enough to book one that we get to figure out how to put an end to all the dark magic stuff and everything or something. There were still a lot of loose ends from book one I’d like to see get tied up.

AVATAR I agree that Book One has a pretty solid ending and it could have been left there. I’m just not sure how you would follow up with a Book Two having the same cast especially if only one survived.

I know that probably no one will see this but God damn this book had balls. It wasn't afraid to approach sensitive topics. The story was great, the characters were amazing, the dialogue was fun I loved every part of it

And I hope that our monster will kick the wet ass of Whatever-lives-in-the-water and new lovely characters'll show up. And I hope Joss will get a bigger role, too 💪

I cried so hard when MC died and hoped at least everyone would be sad at the memorial but it seems like Connor is the only one who was really sad, that was disappointing and heartbreaking. I hope that somehow MC can come back to life :( can't wait for book 2

I sacrificed my MC but I don’t really regret it tbh. Noah had a horrible life in my opinion, and he acted stupidity because he wanted to get his little sister and possibly his whole family back together. I had hoped that by letting him live he would fix the mess he made, and maybe even save the MC somehow.
'It Lives' series already on my favorite list, even tho i haven't play much stories since i just discovered this game not a long time ago.
and ugh, this ending made me.. sad, but i don't really regret my choice. it felt like im playing a monster's backstory. also my character named 'Mare' & it somehow suits her as a monster, maybe because it sounds like 'nightmare'

I sacrificed my character too😭 although i'm happy everyone survives.. i'm kinda sad because no one 1 year after really liked cared about the mc except for Connor.. some of them are like forced themselves to go and they weren't even sad or atleast have a memory about the mc sacrificing.
I think the woman at the end is jane (grown up) who has awoken after being in redfieds body and has been set free by our characters (or noah, whatever you picked) unlikely but fun to think about

Wow! This book was creepy, but had a good mystery to it. And man, the ending was sad; it almost got me crying. And I just have to say, the story line and the Mr. Red thing, it's like they took The Watcher in the Woods, It, and a little bit of Nightmare on Elm Street together (mostly Watcher in the Woods) to me.
Omg maybe book didn't have book 1 (clever kind of fake out seeming to indicate just one book at time) in title because the series is called it lives and now the one in woods was dealt with we move onto book 2 with new monster focus that likely will be titled: it lives in the lake)/ponds as it seems we have another new creature to deal with there may even be a kind of clash of supernatural Titans between mc(Devon)/Noah as new redfield against the teased implied monster capable of mental manipulate victims into the lake and how collected items/pets and surviving friends and who new red monster is could affect book 2 . We will have to wait and see OO

I thought that after everything with Jane that if my character sacrifices herself then theyd actually change for the better and acknowledge her death. Sad that my MC died like a martyr and the gang went back to not giving a shit like they did with Jane. I guess its a figurative way of saying that history will always repeat itself, especially since theres a sequel.

Been watching these chapters and getting ready for It Lives Beneath,but now that I see it,there were a lot of cliffhangers,like in this ending Noah disappears,Ava gets her powers back,we still don’t know what happened to Jocelyn after the creature busted her up,and whoever took redfields place is still out there(in my play through it was Noah)

I also thought the monster scene would be more but its just you Floating around and then realising 'Ohhh im a monster'
God this chapter was so good, I just finished it and I felt like I was about to cry so many times as I was playing it and nearing the end, I just wish I didn’t spend my diamonds on the video first, while I loved it and wanted to see it, I would have made the other choice first to see what happened after and the teaser, but I am looking forward to the next book and I also want to see how it’s different if everyone is alive except Noah, leaving your main character alive

I am really excited to see Book 2! WOOOO. Nearly for the end that women who was nearly dragged into the water...could it be another monster? I was wondering if our mc will be fighting the monster in the lake because we are a monster as well, of course we took Janes place..THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING OMGG and EPIC! So the reason why I thought our mc would be fighting the monster in the lake would be because our friends could be in trouble! Only if your friends survived Jane in the previous chapter. Or neither the monster in the lake would be friends with our mc. But I can’t wait for the book 2 AHHHH.

for me i prefer noah to be the monster coz base on my observation lol when noah became the monster, the counting still remains 7 which means all of your character's friends is still alive (well noah is alive but you know he's a monster) but atleast noah won't be hiding from stacy and others coz that's what happened when your character dies or become the monster that's the result, noah keeps hiding and running away,the result is they treat him like a fugitive...
I kinda hoped my character had survived but I guess it is what it is

I don’t hate Noah but I didn’t sacrifice myself for him. What he did was a stupid mistake and he didn’t deserve to become the next monster but I feel like it doesn’t make any sense for me to leave my life behind just to save his, especially after all that.
It's true what Noah did was wrong but I'm not sure anyone has an answer to the question of what you would do to get your loved one back.
October 10 it Lives returns with new characters
and you can bet Noah is gonna be in there.

I thought It Lives In The Woods would only be one book. I guess I was wrong. If there will be a book 2, I really hope we will see all the main characters again. But for those who might have died or not, I wish they will appear again somehow. And I really hope our MC will be back alive one day and maybe along with those who died because of Mr. Red and Jane. And who attacked that woman at the end, the MC (as the new monster) or a completely new villain? If our MC died, what has happened to the MC's parents?

Yeah they would but the plot of book 2 seems unknown, if they are a stand alone series then 👍🏻 but if it's a continuation of the book 1 then we would see other book 1 characters as well.

The original Mr Red was called Douglas Redfield. He tried to absorb the power in the woods and was turned into a monster.
I did find this story interesting, not only because it's like a classic scary story as in a group of teenagers get caught up by a ghost of the past but that later becomes a ghost hunt.
My thoughts of the characters are Ava not only gothic (goth or gothic is my vibe) but despite what happened, she still seems fond of the supernatural.
Lucas is not only student body president but a fair one, an LGBT character (nothing wrong with it, it's just the people that don't accept it that's wrong), he is the brains of the group if you ask me.
Andy is a tough transgender guy with a gentle heart, the brawn of the group, sure he gets casted to the side and treated like second class but his actions suggest he is just as good if not better then the other basketball players.
Stacy is a great cheerleader captain, the most feisty and probably the most boldest (as in brave) member of the group, weapon of choice tho, maybe she could of had the hairspray with the lighter (makeshift flamethrower) instead of a stone loaded purse, just an opinion.
The MC is no doubt just as bold as Stacy but he/she really does bond with a lot of animals and collects quite the armoury, personally, I think the MC deserves to live with all the friends still alive. Question about the MC, would it be right or wrong to say he/she had PTSD from his/her childhood because of Jane being killed?
Noah not only played his part well, but he did change since the death of his sister, he soon saw her in the form of Redfield and believed he could bring her back to human form through sacrificing someone else to Redfield. Would he deserve to die or live with the shame as well as reap with regrets? Any opinions?

Andrei Talaguit Probably because he lured his friend(s) into a deathtrap of a cave at knifepoint, and then also proceeded to flee the scene of where MC died (the police probably would have at least wanted to talk to him, being a witness to the whole incident + MC's death). That's just my guess, I might've missed something haha
Andrei Talaguit oh also the fact that he kind of tried to kill MC during that whole fight they had with the knife? Not sure if that detail would've made it to the police, or if any of the other characters even saw it, but that's possible too
