Hey guys I hope you enjoyed this one! This thing is coming together quickly and we should be rippin soon! Please Check out PFI Speed if you havent subbed Brent is Great! big Thanks to boosted Boi Kyle for his ideas on this one. Also My sons channel added another video ua-cam.com/video/8wAvp-g8dmE/v-deo.html check it out to watch this guy tear it up at such a young age! We will be back soon! Thank you guys and do please check out our instagram @Fasterproms and @pfispeed
You look super tired Jeremy. Take it easy bro. :)
Jeremy I couldn’t comment on liam’s channel posted today.
@@300zxdriver that's because it is listed as for children. No comments no ads no monetization and all UA-cam premium features are disabled for that video.
Ok, you acknowledged it, so it's all good. Just don't get too wore down with this crazy virus. :) Take care brother!
Duuuuude you should make the exhaust come out like a VW bettle stinger pipe
You and that McFarland guy can't post new stuff fast enough. Both of your channels are my favorite places to be on YT.
"That McFarland guy" hahaha!
Idk why, but that made my day better. Ol Cleeter mcskeeter does need to step up his posting game & take better advantage of this crisis.
As they say, "never let a good crisis go to waste"
@@MichaelD-fn5lv love that he has a steady 1.5mill views on everything he posts now. "That McFarland guy".. I lolled too
Cleeter who, praise Mt Dew, do it for Dale WOOHOOO!! Wait. What just happened?
Don't you mean that Florida man?
Hell yeah brother! Trapped at home and living vicariously through their youtube channels. They've been a godsend these past couple of weeks.
2:34 Ben did great with the camera and the commentary. He should do more when you're too busy with the tuning Jeremy. 👍
Ben did awesome!!
I agree with this
Ben is a welcomed "quiet man" addition to the lineup. He's talented, but humble. His willingness to trade ideas with his peers demonstrates his passion and dedication to learning the craft.
real good guy!
When finished you fella's absolutely must put a super legit little tikes cozy coupe wrap on this thing.... It would be the polish on the project for sure... just sayin....
I just hope they get the body panels back on it some how.
I was thinking pull more body panels off and make it a mini-Leroy lol
That'd be hilarious. And call it "WeeRoy"!
Holy crap. That is legendary. And to TGD... "Weeroy" is perfect!
THIS!!
You guys and PFI speed are probably my favorite places on UA-cam right now, I love watching the technical stuff and the problem solving you guys do. I'd love to see way more crazy projects like this!
Kyle and brent are both mad scientist's in my mind. Making things never designed to work together, work together. Couldn't have anyone better helping!
Damn it 3 more hours. I clicked expecting to watch then realized it was a premiere notification 😂😂😂😂
This is by far coolest build on UA-cam right now that I've seen
Cool build but it dont even come close to project binky.
@@beedoubleyou4155 at least we aren't waiting for eternity for this one to be built lol
I'm dealing with the passing of my Mom right now and you guys are giving me something to smile about. You guys, McFarland, PFI, Boosted Boiz... y'all have been a anchor for me in stormy seas. Much love.
“Caged and confused” 🤣
put a split on the exhaust so you have one pointing up at the rear of each tire to blow the tire smoke up!!!!
I was thinking straight up the middle from the back bumper like those old beetle dunebuggies.
Amen!!
How to start burnout fires; step 1
Thanks for the content while we are all stuck inside !!! Stay safe everyone.
I have to say seeing the puppies at the end just brings an even bigger smile to my face....they are getting bigger every time you show them. Love it.
This thing has quickly become one of the absolute best builds on UA-cam! The culmination of Ben (not sure where he came from originally), and the PFI Speed and Boosted Boiz in town have brought this to the next level. I have said it before, the burnout wars at Cleetus in Cars will be our version of Summer Nats before long. Also, the fact that you guys are not afraid to talk about your faith and the Lord makes it even better. In times like these people need Jesus more than ever!!
Amen
Piece of square tubing inside aluminium tube and angle magnet on outside works very well for me. It took a few times of set up first time to learn the best way, i.e. square tube size and size of magnet(s) outside. But after first few tries , I got it figured out. Now it's a no brainer. Always love the content. And while watching you guys work I am able to just sit and think. Helps me figure out some of my own gremlins in the shop. Keep on keepin' on fellas !!
Mad respect for your work ethic and team member input and support for one another. Be safe and God Bless the dogs !!
Y’all gotta make a big f1 style air scoop for the intercooler
need to be a roof scoop from a RS200 which was for the intercooler
Looks like a little Leroy from the back. Let's go "lil' roy"
Weeroy
@@mikehtee5940 I like that! Also i find k-mart kinda funny.
Love how the smart car is coming out you and PFI Speed are doing a great job that smart car is going to be lots of fun to drive a big tums UP to you and your team pretty soon it's going to be running.
Everyone stop your whining about “premier”.
Jeremy is keeping everyone busy and occupied...even us aussies on a Good Friday morning.
Love your work Jeremy!
Jeremy, this has quickly become one of my favourite channels over the last year or so. Your content is great - length of videos, knowledge and projects. It's a bunch of smart dudes doing crazy shit, but with knowledge. Can't wait to see how this thing turns out!
This is deff one of my favorite builds right now
You need to showhow make the front tyres the same track width as the back. Some insane one off wide body kit.. that thing could look totally insane!
Thank you for long, good vids. Picked up cleeters slack
Awesome to see Laz, George, and Ben all have a bit more camera time, cool to hear the different opinions and ways of doing things!
This build is sick! You Jeremy and Brent are like 2 mad scientists bouncing off each other, and with your students (laz, Georgie,Kyle) coming in clutch with some mad ideas too! This is so entertaining for me! I think PFI/boostedboiz really do need a garage at the freedom factory. Y'all together means some crazy automotive madness!!!
No shade on Cleetus, but this channel's content blows his out of the water now. You guys are the best and i look forward to new videos from you guys so much. Can't get enough! Straight up working on cars, racing cars, and george is the man!
For the aluminum magnet, look into a third hand. Search you tube for, welder third hand. Not a magnet, but it will help allot
Oh, I bought some of those and haven't seen them in a long time. Wondering if someone ganked them at my shop.
What ever you do, don't let that Ben guy get away! There are so few guy's out there that have the ability to cut, fit, bend, weld, and fabricate with that kind of speed and quality. Adding him to the team of extraordinarily talented guys you have assembled, there are no limits to what Fasterproms can do!
Love the build!!! Keep up the great work!!! Fasterproms and pfi the best!!!! Greetings from Athens Greece!!! Stay safe guys!!
Man hes doing an excellent job on that cage. Im happy to see all safety measures being taken! Ben is killing it!
I love love love! How you guys are all working together! I was worried you guys would get sick of having the boiz around but looks like everyone is getting along just splendid! 😉😁
I would suggest Ben ties in the seat mounting to the roll cage on the floor. This will keep the seats as one with the cage in case of an impact or intrusion. If the seat bracket is not attached to the rollbar, it can tear away from the floor or be crushed in a side impact. If you can shift it with the stock gearset and shifter you should see 9 seconds 1/4 mile times with 10 psi. A Quaife FWD Sequential Gear kit and a little more boost = 8 seconds at 160 mph runs might be possible if the car is set up really well...
You guy make some awesome stuff. You guys Cleetus and PFI are by far my favorite channels. Keep up the hard work and awesome content.
Mount the intercooler under the intake in the floor and have scoop come up from the bottom of the car to feed air to the intercooler. Since everything is in the back I'm shore the floor is flat so u shouldnt have no problem getting cool air to the intercooler. Just a thought and would be way different.
Brent has great content and he’s a humble guy. Very smart
You’ll never find another George. He always makes everyone laugh!
Just got out of bed here in Australia... Switch the computer on, get a notification Cleeter has uploaded a video... finish watching that and get another notification saying Fasterproms just posted..... Yew... Today is going to be a good day.
What a team effort!! Great people coming together and make content for us in this shitty time! Thanks boys!
I'm not waiting the whole time but still this is the THE SWAP OF 2020! PFI and Fasterproms have the MOST unique Burnout cars
Great content guys, loving this build. Some really skilled people collaborating!
Thanks for bringing awesome build content for me to enjoy of an evening, with a beer! 🤙
So I paused the video to grab a drink at time 23:56. and Brent is just admiring the beard in all it's glory.
It is getting pretty serious.
Intercooler top mount like a Ford rs200
Yeessssssssss.
Looking bad ass.. that Fab guy is killing it
oh damn.. i cant believe i saw a PFI vid and a Fasterproms and clicked Fasterproms first... this build is THAT SICK.
Ben's killing it!!
It seems like this build came out of nowhere, but it is quickly becoming one of my favorite on UA-cam. What a dream team crew.
Ben is killing it with the Fab cage work!
Jeremy the exhaust should 90 degree to passenger side with a megaphone type tip. Check out the later vids on the mini Cooper that wheelies, k powered. I helped build it
This is my favorite project you guys have done so far. Can't wait to see it rip.
Face To Face.... what a band, what great concerts and great memories. Jeremy, great choice. Or is that Big Choice? And thanks for the Pennywise, Brent.
This is my favorite build series going right now. Waiting impatiently for the next one. Love it. PFI and Jeremy.
Duuuuude you should make the exhaust come out like a VW bettle stinger pipe
Name that car "Special K"
WeeRoy...
That's what I said on the first video haha
Yes...
Man I love george😂you better keep him around for a long time. Also wouldn't mind seeing his buddy squirrel on the channel some more😉
What is all this car stuff at the beginning of the puppy video! Sickest smart car ever! Seriously though the puppies could have their own channel 👍
Ok, guys. Two potential problems and possible solutions. Look to oval track racing for your airflow problems at the side windows. Naca ducts are a wonderful thing. I would suggest another downturn from the rear suspension hoop at the strut. Torsion on that bar is going to be a problem. The top spoiler should work, but I recommend a couple small fans. 4 inch computer fans in a chain should work.
I'd recommend taking MAPP Gas handheld torch and soften the snout a little bit. Kind of feather around it. Cherry red is around 1200, cherry cherry red would be around 1500 and take the hardening out completely. This is assuming slow cooling of course, rapid cooling hardens it further. I imagine the entire crank snout on uncle Sam is now hardened and brittle from rapid air cooling after friction heating and pounding. I'd heat it to a dull red and make a box out of insulated material so it cools very slowly. This will soften it a little bit. Right now you run the risk of snapping the snout off. Don't forget to take the seal out lol.
It would be sick to see the intercooler behind the driver's seat vertical, and then make some piping from the turbo inlet into an airbox that encases the backside of the intercooler to act as a filter for the turbo and also a way to cool the charged air! Not sure if it would be efficient but it would certainly look cool
I like this preview thing, gives me more excitement on knowing the video is going to come out and being able to time watching it all the better. Don't want to fall anything behind on this build! :)
Thanks, Jeremy!!
The fans need more George on the Fasterproms UA-cam channel!!!!!! #WeNeedMoreGeorge!
Is good to have Kyle around in the built, he’s ingenious 👨🏻🏭. I like this idea a LOT, talk us about the tires and wheels specs. I see the tsx’s wheels in the back and it’s great, what’s going to be used in the front the smart oem?
6:33 😂🤘
fasterproms and pfi equal each other out
evryone puting a litle bit of his work on the smart car i like that
I love following this build. Thanks so much for your attitude and all the good fellows you work with. Envy lol
Oh i am so digging this build! Yall go support little mans channel! Great videos! Liam is gonna be a ripper he drives better than most adults I know now lmbo
I crave these videos on this build. One off projects are so cool
brent always has a giant smile lol nothing can get that guy down
You should look into the shark fin roof mounted snorkel they used to use on the old VW Beetles or replicate the Mclaren roof scoop. Neat build.
Jeremy ask Ben to cycle the rear suspension up an down before final welding the tie rod to take out as much bumpsteer as possible...im sure he knows that but that is one of the issues with these rear honda engine swaps is the bumpsteer. Might have to put it on toe plates to make sure it isn't doing anything funny. Take the springs off the shocks and put a jack under the back end and it will be easy to jack it up and down and watch the toe.
Love to see you two making videos together. Two of my fav tuners makin JAM!
Heat deflector wing idea is great!. Another idea is to mount the IC slightly higher and funnel the air underneath and up. instead of down.
Look forward to seeing the progress on this every day y guys are doing great work stay safe guys
As another commenter suggested, vinyl on this thing like a cozy coupe would be awesome.
That wing thing you were trying to remember? That's a spoiler. Awesome idea btw.
Scoop into the front of the intercooler and run the spoiler off the top of it. Between the ram air from the scoop and the negative pressure under the spoiler, that airflow will be sweet.
Just a suggestion since it’s on the back and you’re going to have a scoop to feed it you can also have a roof with fins on the front to keep the air hugging the roof to help the scoop
love the build, hate the spoilers at the begining... I want to see the finish result at the end! anyways greaaat!!!
Lots of fan. Scoop won't be scoopin when the car's spinning around in circles. Ben rocks!!
Should put the pipes to push the smoke from behind the tires!! 🤣🤣
noice work guys, the kcart is going to be sic AF cant wait to see it rippin. keep up the great work stay safe.
😂😂😂😂😂 use the fanboat to blow the dirt and rubber off the freedom factory track. Before and after races 😂😂😂😂😂
PFI Brent is the shit! But those puppies..... they’re pretty dang adorable!
Favorite build on YT rn, you guys are killing it and just that extra Boostedboiiz sauce is making this sick
1 IDEA FOR THE EXHAUST WOULD MAKE IT SIMILER TOO AN OLD VW BUG STYLE MEGAPHONE, COME OUT AND AROUND TOWARDS THE CENTER, AND UP MAKING IT COME OUT THE CENTER @ AROUND A 65 DEGREE UP YOU COULD SEE THE FLAMES FROM YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR AND IT WOULD BE SYMMETRICAL, LOVE THE BUILD!
I can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting for a smart car built series like this. Y’all awesome keep up the good man💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Yeah I pinned the crank on my all forged Texas Speed engine and same thing. It was a mofo to drill. I have an ATI damper though. A little surprised that you would run the stocker on such a nice set-up.
You should do an exhaust like the boosted boys mr2 out the middle it looks sick
Love the rs200 style roof mount intercooler with a big scoop
WeeRoy!!! This has been cycling around several episodes of this build. Awesome name
Man this build is so cool I love both the channels
God bless you Jeremy and Brent I have nothing but love for you guys you are awesome to all the crew PFI boostedboiz fasterproms and cleetus McFarland God bless you all be safe love all your videos I'm always watching
100% best build you’ve ever done got me checking your channel daily
Need a couple of these to race on the track that would be awesome
Freakin love it never seen someone make a smart car so dopee absolutely blown away by how skilled all of you are and would someday love to be able to do stuff like this sadly tho I dont have a spair car to tinker with but do know a fair bit and had to completly rebuild the engine on my 01 vw jetta vr6, shute never even worked on a car before and it runs amazing but keep up the great work and amazing videos! Cant wait to see how it all comes out!!
Love watching the puppies grow! Now my hubby wants a golden lol
This is going to be mental. Love the build.
I’m hoping that Ben has come on board to the fasteroroms team. Ben your work is amazing.
So looking forward to this unit ripping down the track
Tell Ben p.e.t. Tape works good for holding pipe during welding, Justin from the fabrication series uses it for building exhaust manifolds, leaves no residue behind.
This build is so sick. Cant wait to see it rip!
Awesome... Great project.. Brent is just a positive person..
Face to Face is badass dude. Victorville 👌
