I love the skate line of vans. About a month ago I bought a pair of regular sk8-hi and after an 8 hour shift of being on my feet the entire time i went home with tons of foot pain. I ripped out the insole and added my own and it improved slightly but not great. Because I ripped out the insole I voided my chance to return them. 2 weeks ago I bought a pair of skate sk8-hi with the popcush insoles and OMG! they are super comfortable. Im not buying another non skate vans ever again.

What is the difference between Anaheim Factory Old Skool 36 DX and Skate Old Skool? Which one is better and more comfortable and high quality material?

Before, I used to like the idea of Vans, but the lack of comfort stopped me from actually liking them. Now, thanks to ComfyCush, PopCush, UltraCush, etc., I can finally appreciate them. The only regular Vans Old Skool that i own is the Yacht Club which is new just bought at Stadium Goods last week. The reason i bought the Yacht Club is that i like the combination of the colors and very affordable. Most of my Vans sneakers are Skate Old Skool and the Old Skool Comfycush. I also had Vans Rowley Rapidweld Pro. Those are very comfy and durable compared to the regular one. The Vans Skate Old Skool and the Old Skool Comfycush are my favorite and my go-to shoes.
