So i guess all the other 6 completed projects don"t showcase his fab talent. Oh i see only the recent project counts. Kind of a dumb un thought through comment huh.
@@DanBeanner-zo3mssettle down Dan. He's saying that Rudy's skills have improved. That doesn't mean they weren't already good before. That's a compliment.
There is something very satisfying about watching you cut the mini up and piece together a solution. It looks pretty dang cool if you ask me. I hope it works out to be a real great crawler.
I like that Rudy said there is some pretty cool cars being built and you can vote for some one else if you want. That there shows a truely "Good Guy" to me. Go King Cooper.
The combustion temperature in a Diesel engine is higher than the combustion temperature in a gasoline engine, but the exhaust gas temperature is lower because the hot gases have expanded more - roughly 18:1 versus roughly 10:1 in a gasoline engine…. the expansion ratio is the same as the compression ratio.
It is crazy how much I like all the builds Fab Rats looks cool but just big stock Robby's Bread van is really cool and a Jaguar Ram from Bleeping Jeeps looks better than I thought.
I was a little skeptical of your build early on. The further it progresses the more jaw dropping it is. With that wheelbase and all, that thing SHOULD be a goat, besides just looking awesome. Keep up the badassery!
I honestly think y’all are building the MOST technical build by far. I love watching all ONX off-road builds but you are different..you aren’t just welding everything on..Rudy’s adventure and DESIGN..what you’ve done with the transfer case..the chain drive steering is SOOO much more innovative than the other builds. Awesome quality!
I must say I am very impressed with the build Rudy you do a great job designing even on the Fly that makes a true designer. Love the Cooper and love watching your Channel
that rear fender... I wouldn't worry about that... call it "self clearancing". This is by far my favorite OnX build. Not so close second would be the Holy Grail. Only due to my love of the 12 valve. Your King Cooper is truly a ground up build. Really digging how it can potentially be a multi purpose rig. Not only a sweet crawler for all the trails yall have out there. I'm hoping you gear it with the possibility of high speed runs in its future. With the U4/KoH trophy truck style build. I imagine it will do quite well out in Johnson Valley. Or you could run with your Pops out in Baja. At the least it can be one hell of a prerunner for Sweet Caroline. Hope your Pops is taking notes on your progress and ingenuity. He could use that suspension setup on his Baja build.
Yeah Rudy, you are really impressing the hell outta everybody! Your dad should be proud! I think a large part of your dad’s success came from everything else except the garage, like the beautiful scenery and the fun times that poor people live vicariously through so I would break up the build footage with you driving one of your other vehicles, just to cater to a wider range of viewers and make it easier for the wife and/or kids to watch so it’s not like pulling teeth to watch your channel when others are around.
RAD should get royalties from mini for building their 1st 4x4 Rock crawler, this by far has the most difficult design out of the other awesome builds in this challenge, you've basically redesigned an entire vehicle awesome build thanks for sharing ❤️😀👍
LOVE THAT UPSIDE DOWN BACKWARD WELDING POSE . PURE TALENT . CANT TEACH THAT ! Really love this build . Cut'n , weld'n , on the fly my kind of content. RAD FORESURE ! Peace out. LATER DOG
I liked how Zach was observing the shock mounting and questioned Rudy for clarification. It shows how he is engaged in the building process. Never be afraid to question the boss and maybe catch a miscalculation with a second pair of eyes. (assuming one is not blind in one eye, then it would just be a third eye) lol
Good stuff. Glad to see the team getting comfortable with the camera. Janelle's comments gave me a chuckle Commendable that you are able to progress and not get bogged down in the details on this weirdo build
I just voted and there’s only 108 more votes needed to pass Robbie Layton, I love the bread van build but let flex on them. Come on all you. RAD fans! Let’s get Rudy and his team some votes!!!
Rudy Ok then, when you fist started this project I was very sceptical but now that one can see what you are doing never ever let it be said that you are afraid of fabrication , well done
You certainly have your dad‘s ability to visualize and you do a really good job of showing us what you’re thinking. The more I watch the more I realize how the word design comes into your channel.
This is the most modified mini cooper on the planet! Franken Cooper! Rear fenders maybe a max flex problem. I had a Mini Paceman 2 door and love to see you building this.
I really enjoy watching Rudy working, very impressive skills in fabricating, and the fact you chose a Mini to work on is crazy ..... Cheers from Canada.
Most of the builders on this challenge is my favorite shows to watch and every one of the builds is awesome but you’re build I’m thinking maybe might be my favorite
Man… I’ve been voting for Robby but I might start voting for you. Some of the stuff you come up with is so creative. This cooper is becoming one of the more badass builds.
Hey guys this build is turning out to be very impressive. Reminds me of a stomper from my childhood. This mini coop is going to be a 4 wheeling SOB. I can't wait to see the finished project. Keep up the great work guys.
the top of the strut mount is known to bend up from speed bumps etc. they make reinforcfement for that mushrooming of shock towers. Also the braces you built to tie in the fron tof the cage with the body in the engine compartment, well they add that brace to the convertable models. Also, we could use a that old block if you dont want it. we need a forged internals project motor.
Very impressive build and problem solving . I think you should call it the HOOD , because that might very well be the only intact original part left in the end 😉 That thing is going to be a MONSTER . Great work .
I just finished a 7 day 2100 mile round trip from Huntsville Al to Tampa in my '83 300sd. 660 miles yesterday, it ran flawlessly at 28mpg. I finally stopped at Daddy Don Garlits Racing Museum in Ocala Florida. Holy Crap! I was speechless. Don't ever miss a chance to go there! Not sure it's been mentioned but you need to run Rotella T4 15/40 in your OM.617
I love how he's talking about not forcing shocks into the mount... In yesterday's episode of Matt's Offroad Recovery they did just that on the pre-runner. Hammered the heck out of some shocks.
Honestly when you started I thought you where crazy, but I must say I'm impressed with what you've built so far, you get this thing driving and on the trail looking decent you are truly a master craftsman
What an amazing build! Sure seems you are following in your dad's footsteps when it comes to fabrication skills:-) I can't wait to see this King Cooper in action!
The more Rudy pulls this build together, the more impressed I am with it.
100% Accurate I did NOT expect to like a Mini Cooper so much....EVER 😂
Agree
I was definitely skeptical at the beginning of the build.
And with him! The way he’s able to just come up with a lot of these custom parts in such a short amount of time is impressive!
Hell yeah
I must say Rudy you stepped up your game this year. This Mini Cooper shows that your fab skills are on a whole new level . I really enjoy watching!
So i guess all the other 6 completed projects don"t showcase his fab talent. Oh i see only the recent project counts. Kind of a dumb un thought through comment huh.

Hey Dan kind's sounds like you mean well, but got to ask.... Did someone pee in your Cheerios....😂😜👍
The "Resource Pile"... I'm going to use that one next time my wife comments about my 'junk pile'. 😅
Yep, It's not hoarding it's resource management.

Vote for Rudy...he's so close edging Robby out of 4th place.....common and VOTE !!!!

7 weeks of 10? go Rudy and co.....loving this build
That's a BIG flex....
Geezus that thing can flex, that's gonna be a hell of a crawler
This is the coolest build! Absolutely awesome!
YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST CHANNELS TO WATCH AND YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW IT, your content is really awesome. Keep a tidy shop .
So refreshing to see someone stick to one project and not jump to fifteen different things over the course of a year.
You've got crazy fab skills.
That is buggy type flexing.
You are REALLY particular on how you build stuff and it shows in the product.
King Coop has some almighty flex.
Hands down the coolest Mini build , this thing is going to be a granite eating monster .

Man, 51" of travel is amazing. I can't wait to see it in action!
Don’t forget to burn in all those tacks. Hate to see you do the same thing as the rad charger and forget a few. Awesome build.
15:05 it has Janelle's approval, all is right with the world!!!
Not an overlander by any means. But it’ll be fun in the rocks and fast stuff!
That flex looks wild. lol
That’s pretty damn awesome Rudy!
I can't wait to see it on the rocks ❤
I watch Fab Rats, Robbie Layton, your dad, and sometimes Chad's channel. Yours is my favorite. Keep doing what you're doing, Homie.
I love the kazoo intro. Rudy is not afraid to take on any design/fabrication effort. Blew my mind when he built his own doubler.
I keep asking myself, where does he come up with this stuff, how does this kid know that ??? 🤔
RAD should get royalties from mini for building their 1st 4x4 Rock crawler, this by far has the most difficult design out of the other awesome builds in this challenge, you've basically redesigned an entire vehicle awesome build thanks for sharing ❤️😀👍
I think you took 1st place from Paul on the on X votes last week.

Keep showing the process mistakes included. We all can relate to that 😂

Agreed! Go Rudy... and Team!
RUDY look into getting the injection pump built from dieselpump UK double the HP!!!
Rudy!!!!!!!! You are a welding fabricating machine!!!
Love your work and your content!!!
This is an awesome build Rudy!
It's beautiful.👍😎✊
Nice flex dude.
Its just getting better and better love to see it running and climbing rocks (mountains).
Good stuff. Glad to see the team getting comfortable with the camera. Janelle's comments gave me a chuckle
Commendable that you are able to progress and not get bogged down in the details on this weirdo build
Wow, such a cool build. A matchbox hot wheels build. Hats off to Rudy, Janelle, and Zack.
Keep the videos coming, we're loving your work out here in Humboldt county California...
AWESOME
That is a remote control… if not it should be. Great content and the cooper… the beast
I just voted and there’s only 108 more votes needed to pass Robbie Layton, I love the bread van build but let flex on them. Come on all you. RAD fans! Let’s get Rudy and his team some votes!!!

Certainly of the BMW minis. For the earlier minis, it's worth checking out project Binky
Not many off road vehicles have that much Flex, you are doing a great job.
I am impressed with your skills at steering geometry .
I love it. Hope you win!
20:01 gotta love the safety squint that will for sure stop pieces of that grinding wheel if it decides to shatter.

That is freak'n SICK! Awesome!
If I had Rudy's Fabrication skills, i would be in heaven Building bad azz shyt like the king cooper
Impressive!
Impressive build so far, can’t wait for it to be moving under its own power

That mini Cooper has one heck of a lot of flex.
I see where your Dad got his building and fabrication skills from 😉 lol
I'm so hyped. This is flipping awesome
The flex was amazing but that sunset...WOW!
She's right, it looks BEAST!
I love this build. You guys have done an amazing job so far!!!
The King Cooper is totally RAD Rudy , fine job guy's. Can't wait to hear it run, that's gonna be AWESOME. Thanks for the video bro 👍
I thought this was an overlanding build, not a full on bad ass rock crawler build?😅 either way it's badass!

I love it. That amount of flex, diesel engine and engineering for ever, wow!! A bit more tire clearance might be a good idea.
