- Like to click your pens? This is the video for you. These are my favorite pen click actions of all time! Please note, these are not my favorite click pens of all time! This is purely about the feel and sound of the click mechanism, not how the pen writes, how it looks, how much it costs, or anything like that.

- Pentel Energel
- Fisher SpaceTec
- Ballograf Epoca P

there is something inherently genius about this video. I just watched it for the fourth time. Like you, I am also into pen clicks. Anyway, thank you for making me feel “normal” for about 8 minutes. Some people just don’t understand how truly therapeutic the experience of a compelling pen click can be. I see that you’re one of us few who truly do. Regardless of how well any pen writes, I’ll almost always go back to a clicker for my daily driver because I can’t live without the click.
Great comment. And I agree. Onky question is, what happened to Parker Jotter? Gotta be in click hall of fame!
are you one of those people who click only when you need to use the pen, or click incessantly? I have been around people who click their pens constantly and find it to be incredibly rude, inconsiderate, childish, impulsive, frustrating... When you are around other people who are trying to be productive.
My top 4:
Parker Jotter
Ballograf Epoca
Pilot G2 Limited
Rotring 600 w/spring mod
I have an unusual USA made ss ct Jotter which appears to have been made with a mech pencil plunger instead of the usual one. It has a click unlike any other Jotter I've felt or heard and is my favourite click now. I commented on an Unsharpen video just a few days ago saying the most premium writing instrument I own was sub 5 dollar Rotring Tikky pencil. Now I own two Parkers... I think I've caught the bug
I think the Uni Jetstream, the cheap plastic one has a satisfyingly smooth click, especially when clicked at an angle.
i think you just crossed the line of extreme 'sensory -geekiness.' LOL keep up the good work. . .very entertaining!
I never thought about the Ballorca having a great clicker, but distinct, yes. It's something I fidget with when I'm in deep concentration and even with all that play, I almost always have to check to see where the tip is when I'm done. It's one of my favorite pens of all time-- maybe the clicker has something to do with that?
The Ohto is great. I didn't know there was a pen version until I just checked. The body looks just like the Niji Grip 500 mechanical pencil I bought sometime in the 80s.
How tf did i end up here
Can't believe we have a favorite click. Are we strange or what?! Ha! Well, I have 2 favorites, the one found on the Acro 300 and any of the Zebra Sarasa Push Clip or Vintage gel pens. Besides the fact that both click buttons stay down when you push it and rise when pushed again (a feature I prefer), they produce a sensation during constant clicking I simply prefer over that of those that don't remain depressed. My most hated click is the one on the Uniball Jetstream Premier ballpoint pen which uses an air-click mechanism. Feels strange not having any audible or tactile click feedback. Drives me bonkers! Thanks for the video!
I was sure you were going to feature the Jotter pen. I don't like how the click bottoms out. I agree the Pilot Juice Up has a good click.
Jotters are famous for their click. I would include that in top 5😎
Michael Aranda I love the jotter click, along with the default cartridge. For some reason it is a very satisfying pen to use for me, both click and writing feel.
@@collecter3456 best pen and click sound :)
Jotter- best clicker for over 50 years.
I would love to see an updated video reviewing various fidget pens. Some people love to play with the magnetic tops of rollerballs such as the RItma. Some pens have spinner tops on ball bearings, etc.
I love the way it writes, but that is one stupid size cartridge.
Inkjoy 700RT is my absolute favourite pen of all time!
My top 4 is :
Parker Jotter
Lamy Safari
Sheaffer Sentinel
Lamy Logo
No Parker Jotter?
nefarium70 😀i was surprised not to see a jotter. But yeah, it was his opinion🤪
Ordered tombow airpress to try the click. I too will be the clicker at the office
Ooh the ohto gripper is interesting!
I love these clickers.
Wait! You don’t have a Parker Jotter? Really! I click mine more than I write with them. Nonetheless, a good idea for a video. Very unique, and an untouched topic.
I have a jotter, the click just doesn’t do it for me. You like it?
@@unsharpen : Some of the newer ones may have a softer, duller click than the old ones with a crisper snap to them(like the one used by the Russian computer tech in the James Bond movie “Goldeneye”.
Oh! I had this Ohto Gripper as a kid, mechanical pencil version; I had forgotten how much I loved it! Thanks for the memories!
Goddamnit this is like the 10th video of yours I’ve watched tonight. how dare you keep covering what I am most interested in presently.
2022 version of this video please??
I’m not sure if it would be very different!
I like the zebra sarasa clip click
damn these are some really nice clicks. thoughts on the click of the lamy logo?
It's good, particularly good for Lamy, but doesn't make this list.
Brilliant video.
The white body w/ grey grip Pilot acroballs hold my pen click heart! Especially if you slightly stretch the spring out. Just a firm, satisfying click
That pen has a good click but it’s not very distinctive. This list was probably skewed more towards “interesting clicks”
@@unsharpen agreed. Very mundane. Just ordered an acro 300, 500, and 1000 to compare and contrast. I never knew others had this insane love of pens but I've found my home ❤️🤣
Glad to see that more people are interested in pen clicks. 👍
Your favorites?
Good vid idea!!
maybe this is a dumb question but can you replace the sakura ink with another gel? i found that clicker but its only in glitter red! lol
update: received the pen last night, confirmed you can change the cartridge, just not sure what i can use,.. kinda looks like a g2 refill i guess but i dont have 1 to compare. if i could turn this into a white clickable gelly roll that would be tits,.
also the action is a lot less smooth than i remember, maybe needs to be broken in with 10,000x death clicks
ASMR
my favourites are the Faber Castell Polyball and the Zebra F-402
when you run out of video ideas
Pilots's Acroball is very satisfying as well
Yeah it is!
