another tip - when playing as general grievous, before you use thrust surge you dodge backwards and turn your camera 90° left or right. once your camera has turned you activate the ability and it hits enemies through blocks
i got a tip that i shared wit vinnie quite a while back. it’s more of a cheese tactic but it’s still useful in 1s. similar to how heroic might can go through block if anakin does a 180 lunge at an enemy, when dooku does a 180 lunge, the momentum carries him behind the enemy’s block, allowing for a lightning stun to go through block, or just regular attacks. it’s pretty easy to do in duels, and can catch ppl off guard. 🙏🏿🙏🏿

There must be even more to this yoda block thing. I have dueled 2 ppl that used some kind of trick that lets u autoparry everything (they also told me that they use a trick). I dont know how it works, but it definitely works somehow
Yeah auto parry is an actual cheat you can do on PC, although they may have been referencing something else by calling it that. Either way I don't know what they were talking about
when dooku animation hook tutorial also i remember that you can hit the same guy twice with clawrush if you hit them at the very beginning and end. Is this the same timer as the block hitting timer?
If you hit someone in the first half of his clawrush, if you are able to hit them again when standing up it does damage and ragdolls them. It just has to be in the first half of the ability.
Learn frame trap as maul. It’s basically where you can move after using his choke if the enemy hits you. So you can quickly hit them and possibly land another hit if you dash towards them
The frame trap is useful, but also quite difficult for most people. I'd recommend trying to be aggressive with maul, while being careful not to get caught in a double parry or ability combo.
Unrelated but Is anybody else having high ping issues? Ive recently hit lv 700 on about 3 heros and ever sense then my ping had always been 65+ and greatly impacting my gameplay

No, although it does look like that. Yoda jumping when he swings is just his animation, he is still actually on the ground

Any ability that increases the meter around his presence, but it works best against lightning stun

Sometimes the weather impacts you connection. If it's been raining lots recently that may be the cause
