Herringbone Wire Wrapped Pearl Earrings

Join me in making this beautiful earrings project. We are focusing on pearls this week. This project features 8-9mm freshwater pearls and 24 gauge gold color German style wire from Beadalon.
Materials for this project (double for earrings):
2 8-9mm freshwater pearls
50 3mm crystal beads
2 10 inch pieces of 24 gauge gold color German style wire
2 24 inch pieces of 24 gauge gold color German style wire
Gold ear wire
Chain nose pliers
Bent chain nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Cutter tool

Love your tutorial and trying to make it. I used 20ga from artistic wire ( i need to order the German style ). Since I didn’t make dangle, I found a difficulty to fold the extra loop. Do you think is because the size of 20ga? Is it ok if I use 22ga?
