Well I love the Zero Hour mission - my favourite exotic mission by a long way now. Although it is one hell of a challenge for someone with my skillset (lol)
So I wanted to try and see if I could run it on normal and complete it before the 40 minute timer runs out. I'll show you my (as it turns out messed up) loadout and then you can join me for the race against the clock

The reason I like Mr Time Sausage because he is literally the only content creator who is happy to say they are not S Tier at the game and that it might not be so "easy" as so many other content creators make into a narrative. Congrats on the clear Mr Sausage, I was not going to try and solo this aka not do it as I don't LFG and am fine missing out BUT you gave me the inspiration to try. GG!

Did you know you can one shot the walkers with dragons breath? 😳 I know crazy, but the ignitions destroy the walkers.
Is that with or without building into it
My problem is that I find the polaris lance a bit more useful, but those walkers do take up a lot of time goods call!
I may go legendary bows in n the energy slot and keep on Dragons breath for the walkers. Have not attempted this yet, probably wait till the last week tbh.
Just swap loadouts via the presaved ones.
Got this done last night ( normal). Went with arc warlock before the puzzles and solar after. Tried using the old zero to do the puzzles but it didn’t work. So maybe it has to be the crafted one. 🤷♂️

Pretty sure when I did this years ago I had help from one of those Destiny god players so I was essentially just trying to keep up the whole time (same in Whisper mission) Now I’m in the going in with no expectations just to learn the mission and jumping etc. I’m determined to do it solo. Love your videos!

I was the same running through it with 2 of my clan buddies. If i can i prefer to do things solo as its the only real way you grow your skill.
@@LastNameInTown I have done Whisper a few times now and it seems much easier than at initial release. My first completion was still pretty ugly, but I got it done.

I'm no S tier gamer either, I managed to do it on my Celestial Nighthawk Hunter with Marksman Golden Gun, Used Mountain Top, Risk Runner for the first 2 combat sections then Polaris Lance for the rest of the mission. Used Apex Predator rocket launcher to. Took a few tries but got there in the end!! Great video by the way!

Absolutely - that's the channel mantra! That and make as many fart jokes as possible.
the hardest thing for me was getting there in time, after a few runs to get familiar with the layout it wasn't too bad for me, polaris lance really does make a huge difference too, lets you hang back and pick off enemies in that last room especially, I was getting overwhelmed trying to fight up close. Though those stupid airstrikes from the brig killed me more than I'd like to admit. Legend sounds like a nightmare though.

I’m a solo player. Took me two days trying to beat Zero Hour. Never played it before. Each time just kept getting better and better. Finally I beat it with 10 minutes left.
I am proud I was able to do this solo. it took 8 tries to get through. I always ran out of time. I just made sure to be quicker between encounters and eventually made it with 23 minutes in the boss fight. I STILL just barely beat it. I died 21 times. I did use hard light because the explosions from the shield pops did a decent amount of damage for the shanks. I would pop the shields and then go back to shooting other stuff like the servitors until the shields came back. that seemed to finally work for me. once I killed all the adds I did switch to polaris lance to do the rest of the stuff.
Soloed it with strand and wish ender bow.

I had to use Wish Ender with incandescent Lunas & Hammerhead with solar Marksman. Switched to Stomp e for traversal section

As a noob I managed to do it with Lina’s howl and dragon’s breath then switched to chrysura melo for range in the boss room

I just can't get past Trevor without dying a bunch of times. It's like he's around every corner I turn. The whole thing makes me annoyed because I've already suffered through this mission when it first came out and I have the catalyst. Making the original Outbreak Perfected obsolete and forcing us to redo the mission just feels bad.
If you follow the route I went that tends to work 90% (ballpark) of the time. I'm glad its back in the game really but I totally understand how you feel

Mr TS. If you put loads of scavenger mods on for when you spawn in/rally you'll get extra rockets and you can swap back to normal armour and not lose the extra.
I don't think this was really based on my comment on another video but i did mention running arc and also solar and it makes me feel useful and included 😅

I basically just copied esoterick's build (which is pretty similar, and finished in around the time you got (after a couple runs to memorize the layout and not waste time getting lost) twenty minutes for legend sounds really tough though, not looking forward to that.
i solo it day 1 but yes this is a pain in the ass
I had 25 deaths and most of those are from the boss
Same here, 95% of my deaths were at the boss
On legendary, with 3 is almost Impossible

Dragons Breath or Edge Trabsir with deconstruct wil back shirt work of Brigs and walkers
I hope they fix the bugged normal version for nubs like me before they nerf Polaris Lance and Graviton Lance in the next patch.
When asked about the difficulty of the normal version, Bungie said "It's not supposed to be easy." so unfortunately it was intentional. They try more and more to force solo players to go LFG, which we don't want to do lol.
@@_Dave_S It makes sense for missions where you're just clearing mobs and killing the boss but trying to get 2 randos on the same page for mazes and Mario jumping BS on a timed mission is bonkers. Even veterans with the best gear and have done this mission dozens of times already are clearing it with only 5-10 minutes to spare.
A room full of red bars hitting like a mac truck shouldn't be in Normal.
Yes it is tricky this one - oddly though I find the Whisper boss room harder than this one
