I'll never forget when I went to watch Into the Spider-Verse expecting a little crappy mid Spidey movie, and getting out of the theater with it becoming my favorite Spider-Man movie over time. I thought a sequel would be unnecesary, but with all the trailers and reviews, I honestly think this could become my favorite film of 2023. I feel like us Spider-Man fans have been winning since 2016!

Still love the moment from into the Spiderverse where Miles does that crazy jump off the building. The music, visuals, and tone were beautiful.
That whole sequence, from where he gets his suit from aunt May ("well it took you long enough"), and 'becomes' his version of Spider-man is one of my favourite moviescenes ever.. expecially in 3D.

I would have liked Mario Bros to win an Oscar, but Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse deserves it by far
Mario is a decent kid's movie, fun enough, but its not a great movie. If it was the best animated movie of the year, it would mean a pretty poor year for animation.

Mario Movie was good but plot was pretty mid not Oscar worthy whereas this film has potential in that area but both movies are good
Into the Spider-Verse is hands down the best CBM. Literally 10/10. Everything works out, there is nothing to complain. I can't wait to see the sequel

As a Puerto Rican from Brooklyn, I really like the Miles Morales character, but seeing what they were able to accomplish with the first movie, makes me really excited to see the rest of the trilogy
100% I am a 35yr old guy. It took time, but I am glad to finally see a movie that makes me feel like people that look more like me can be heros and leads too. Not just villains, or henchmen or side characters/the friend/ the joke

Saw it earlier for me it was 9/10 just because of the abrupt end but the animation frame by frame is 11/10 definitely deserves an Oscar it was out of this world never seen anything like it in Hollywood animated movies

My fav moment was Spider-Punk leaving the Spider-society group after Miles made his decision to oppress his alternates. It just adds more to his anarchic rebellious revolutionary nature. Similarly, his behavioural instincts + political ideologies is almost identical to Cyberpunk 2077’s Johnny Silverhand - definitely my favourite Spidey variation.
The film was released today in my country and I watched it already. MANNNNNN, this film is way beyond! The art style, the music, the story, the characters, the CAMEOS, everything is just pure perfection! I love that we delve into Gwen's story even more! And her relationship with Miles is very 3 dimensional. I gotta agree that the ending feels kinda weird and it feels like it was cut mid sentence. Aside from that, I think everything is just perfect. Miguel is very awesome and terrifying in a good way in this film. Also, there's no part in this film where you feel kinda off and uninterested, you can really feel that the entire film is full of goodies that you can enjoy. Overall, the film is great and I can't wait for the Beyond the Spiderverse.
although he's technically a villian, Miguel O'Hara as the antagonist was an absolute beast in that movie. I still can't believe it ended in that way, tho. Movie made itself way better than Into the Spiderverse although the first film still has a special place in my heart.
I’m just excited for this movie in general. From growing up watching the 90s Spider-Man cartoon to seeing how far they’ve come is just incredible.

I LOVE how they developed and written all the characters here. Even the villains are people you can actually side with! It was an all-out affair that's animated so beautifully! This could easily win best animated feature next year at the academy, hands down.
I followed for a long time and never rlly thought about the giveaways for a movie till this im trying and I’m sorry but this movie would be nice to see a movie like this in the theaters for once. My favorite moment was when miles sees more spider men and having to work with them or against them, it’s a site to see not gonna lie Emergency awesome, you hagd and stay safe and keep up the good work, btw your review videos is not the only thing I watch on your channel 😊

The "hairball" part seemed like it would have been great to see for the first time in the movie. The chase between Miguel and Miles is my favorite clip in the trailers.

The ending was my favorite. The big twist was setup so well I didn’t even see it coming until it did.
Favorite trailer moment: when Pavitr Prabhaka Spider-Man rags on Miles for saying, “Chi” tea since “Chi” means “Tea” when translated bc it calls back to when Miles asked The Spot why do people say “ATM Machine” since the ‘M’ in “ATM” means ‘machine’. Lol, great writing.
Without giving to much away, one of my favorite characters was Hobie Brown. I really hope they do more with him in the future.
I always regretted not seeing the first movie in the theaters, but I won't be making that same mistake. Can't wait till I see this Friday! This movie is gonna be a legit gorgeous masterpiece.

@prodiigyseverydaygaming4822 I just saw it, and it is so damn amazing and gorgeous. Like for real, it's a feast for the senses and so many feels. All the spider cameos and main ones all brought something to the movie, I haven't laughed or cried so much. Not just a solid animated film, but it's a cinematic masterpiece.
Someone could deduce that the Miles universe creates unlimited Spider-verse possibilities. For example, seeing a T-Rex running around in Spider-Man attire, I did NOT see that coming. Thanks Charlie. 🍻🙏🏼🍻

I cannot wait for this film. This film, Flashpoint, Mission Impossible, & Equalizer 3 are my must sees. The first Spider-verse was really, really good and the sequel looks equally as good from the trailer.

The artistry in this movie is exquisite. It's worth it to see it for the artwork, alone, but the story is also worth watching. As for the hard cut at the end, it bothered a lot of people in the theater, but I'm okay with it. I would have seen a third movie, regardless, but if Beyond the Spider-Verse is even half as good as Across the Spider-Verse, it will still be worth seeing.
Most excited to see Spider Rex. My nephew is 4 years old and hasn’t stopped talking about him since we saw him in the trailer 🕷️🦖
The first Spider Verse movie completely changed modern animation.
Every animation studio was trying to be like Pixar/Disney with photo-realism type of animation. Into the Spider Verse changed the game by introducing the exaggerated comic book style with heavy uses of cell-shading that make the characters look like they pop right out of comic pages. This was not the style you see in big budget animated movies. Into the Spider Verse's success inspired so many other animated movies to be less photo-realistic, and having more exaggerated styles. Really hope that this one breaks $1B. It really deserves it.

That is wild that the Miles Morales character was created from somebody watching an episode of Community (possibly my favorite sitcom) in which Donald Glover wore a Spiderman costume for just a few seconds on screen in an opening scene. And that scene in Community was duplicated on a television set in Uncle Aaron's place when Miles visits his uncle for the first time in 'Into The Spiderverse.' I love that Brian Michael Bendis gave a big ole middle finger to the ignoramuses who thought Glover could not be Spiderman, and about a decade later, Across The Spiderverse, starring Morales's character, would be selling out theaters, creating massive buzz, and revolutionizing animation. Kudos to Marvel for expanding the idea and image for what Spiderman could be and recognizing the love that so many of us who don't 'look' like Spiderman, have for his character.
Maybe it's just me but Bendis looks kind of like a real-life Kingpin LOL.
Spider-Rex is the absolute best moment in the trailer, I’m sure in the movie the entrance is way better😂
A truly fantastic achievement after I didn't think they could top the first one, when I wasn't even expecting that much from it to begin with! Best movie I've seen this year, my new favorite Spidey flick, and a perfect 10 from me.

In the comics Spider-Gwen has always just been the editorial name for the character used in the comic titles. In the first Spider-Verse movie she refers to herself as Spider-Woman. Semi recently the comics started calling her Ghost Spider to refer to how many of her variants are dead but I'll always prefer her just being Spider-Woman

Genuinely the visuals and some of the whide shots with thr specific asthetics made mg jaw dropped. Havent stopped thinking how immense and impact that art has had on mg life even several hours since watching the movie. This is honestly just timeless art that will be talked about and studied in decades
Favorite moment is the other new spidermen finally being able to come to life even if in small cameos. This movie is going to be an all time great spider man film!

Spider-Punk is definitely my favorite character. The only twist I didn't see coming was that final one. Literally a full turn around flip-a-roo. So many easter eggs. However I do agree there are a few plot holes in the whole Canon explanation bit. Especially with Miles and different universe explanation bit. But I'll save that for the easter eggs videos.
i kid you not after watching it today, this is the first time in a decade i didn't want a movie to end most likely going in my top 2 arguable for top 1 (im not a crazy spider-man fan either but i absolutely loved this move to death, you can just tell when a lot of love is put into a project and this just hit a really sweet spot for me)

I’ve been excited for this movie since the first one came out. I want to see all the different animation styles for the different spider people. Indian spiderman looks interesting especially because Karan Soni is the voice. He’s great in everything!!

Bro I can’t wait for Across the Spider-Verse this weekend I can’t wait to see my boiii Miles back in action as he travels across the Spider-Verse and I’m kinda excited to see Miles and Gwen both as their story collides so I’m hyped for more comic book lore and more Spider-Man lore and meta commentary I believe Spider-Punk and Spider-Man 2099 will be my favorite I’m so excited for more Spider-Verse. Great breakdown and Easter eggs can’t wait for more!
i remember watching the alternative version first before the theatrical version. it was weird because it had concept art included i the alt version. but really enjoyed the theatrical version

It would be cool if the incursions reach to the Sony spider verse this could be a cool way to introduce Spider-Man 4 and Amazing Spider-Man 3. It could also be a good way to introduce the spider verse in real life and have it all connected to secret wars. And it's a chance to redo morbious and carnage, etc in the spiderman universe etc. Spiderman 4 could be about the lizard and the vulture and mayday parker helping out her father. And amazing Spider-Man 3 could be with that world's venom etc.

I think the upcoming madame web movie which will be released before beyond the spideverse will tie in directly into these two movies, might be as well set into the universe where miles ends up at the end of the movie or some other universe but it definitely is gonna be related in a major way to across and beyond the spideverse.
