When I clicked on your beginning macrame video I was pleasantly surprised. I quickly realized that I was going to be able to get a lot of useful information in a short period of time to get started. I have an art studio at home and I do all kinds of crafts from scrapbooking to painting to drawing to actually making furniture so I watch A LOT of UA-cam and have for 20 years. Out of all the videos I've ever watched I found yours to be the best! I have never left a comment on youtube, this is the first. I would like to take a minute here and give you a list of things that I appreciate about your videos from somebody who watches UA-cam videos daily in the craft genre. Your videos are enjoyable because...1. generally most of them are in the same area or same like area you're not all over the place. Each video is consistent and not busy...2. It's quiet! No music, no loud clocks, animals, children, or other people in the background causing a change in volume distracting away from the subject matter. 3. Your professional but also relatable. For example you don't laugh or cackle really loud or shuffle papers. You're organized so there's not a lot of movement with the camera. It's simple with just one camera with one angle. You're not conversational your instructional. 4. You are to the point but informative. I enjoyed that you had a list of things that you wanted to cover and you stuck to the list you didn't allow the information to take you on to another subject. You didn't repeat yourself over and over and over or lose your place in the information. I appreciate that you explain it as if the person you're talking to doesn't know anything about the subject allowing me to take what I wanted from the video and leave the rest. 4. You presented all information equally..meaning you mentioned the brands and supplies that you use as a piece of information just like the subject matter as opposed to using half of your video as an infomercial as well as your personal plug..thank you for not begging me to subscribe to your channel or leave comments at the beginning middle and end of every video. 5. You dress appropriately. It's not flashy, unbecoming or borderline immodest, just normal and easy on the eyes. I am sure there are several more but these are the things that came to mind right off and also what prompted me to subscribe. I am looking forward to watching several more of your videos. Thank you for your consideration in the producing of, providing concise and simple videos that are easy to understand. Maybe you should consider doing a video series on how to do a video series! Lol.
I very much appreciate your comment! Thank you for taking the time to write all this down, it certainly helps to know what people like and I always find it extremely interesting! And especially if it comes from someone like you who has a very good comparison to other channels of my genre 🙂 Thanks again and I hope you will keep enjoying my videos in the future 😉
My studio is a combination of jewelry making supplies, beads, metals, torches, etc, then I have essential oils and other aromatherapy supplies. my jars and other containers for aromatherapy have spilled out into shelves on the outside of the wall in the garage. I have pegboard in two places on the walls, where my cord is stored. I also have a small shelf cart that stores the braided cords that won't go on pegs. On the top shelf of that are some of the tools I use. A friend gave me a rack on wheels, that I do the bigger pieces on, and right now the macrame board I have for smaller things is in the house. It is so cluttered, I'm always watching videos on de-cluttering and organization, hoping to get some good ideas on getting it all organized better. I really enjoy your videos. You are very easy to follow, and your instructions are very clear. Thank you!
I am glad to hear you are enjoying my videos :) I love decluttering my space, it always brings me so much peace to look at the organised and clean space afterwards. It sounds like you have quite a few supplies, fingers crossed you will find a good way to make it all work!
Pl make a video on using cut off cords . I feel so bad when there too much of wastage of tiny bits . I’m battling with the use of glue gun. How do you pack your work for gifting ? Thanks in advance
Hello, I am a begginer with the macrame, and I really enjoy it. I have my studio also, but it has a section for scrapbook, a section for card making, a section with wool, threads, a section for candles, bottles, paint, etc, a section for macrame and my working station with the computer. I like very much your studio! I think you could hang your chandeliers from te ceiling, maybe in the corners
Hello Adriana, oh your studio sounds wonderful! Like a proper craft room, I am sure I will get there too one day, too many interesting crafts out there 😁 Yes, I could hang them in the corners, it's just that this is a rental so every extra hole we drill is something we will need to fix and clean up when we leave...
Hi Anna soo enjoy your segments and the way u present very easy to follow for a beginners and I'm glad u don't speed up your speech like some other channels keep doing what u do love your work and wishing u all the best for the future in these unsettled times I find crafting and my art a great way to cope ...look forward to the next project 🦋💕🙏🥰💕💕
Don't really have any storage, I have a tote with all my stuff. Cords, beads and tools. Just started macrame. So I could use this tutorial to help me get organized. Thanks
I should have probably mentioned in the video that I have all this after doing macrame for about 4 years, so it definitely took me a while to get here 😉
Hi Anna! Great tips, thanks for the video :) Could you please tell me what is the structure you put the lamp shades on (03:10)? What is it called? It looks like a steady base to actually make them on, not just to store. I am having such a hard time stabilizing these lamp shades while making them... thanks !! ♡
Can you tell us about the structure that you hang your projects on while working on them? Is it a wardrobe rack or something you made yourself? I see that you use S hooks to hang the actual project on, but what is it hanging onto? Thank so much! Your studio looks great!
It is a clothing rack that I bought. I am talking about it quite a bit in my tools video ua-cam.com/video/gq9PYjXpLts/v-deo.html I am explaining there why I like to use specifically this one so I hope that will be helpful for you 😉
Could you hang the chandeliers from a plant pole that goes up to the ceiling. I had one and it had several arms on which to hang the plants. The arms could be moved around to accommodate the plants.
I am not sure what exactly that would look like but I can imagine that this could work as long as you can somehow bring the electrical cords to the lightbulb...

@@annabaginova01 then maybe you could use one of those snap-on courtain rods
You could put the chandeliers one on top of the other just like the storage for tyres
I could probably do that, you're right, thanks for the tip 😉
Hello my teacher I'm from Rwanda love u so much🥰🥰

for the chandeliers, S hooks with chain and cup hooks on the ceiling? you can mock hang them without the light kit.
You mean when you don't want an actual light in the chandelier? I guess you could do that then...
I’m so envious!
Well hopefully you can take some inspiration from it for your own space 😊

What I am using is a tyre rack and you are right, they are quite stable and I enjoy making the lamp shades on them.
Woow! So well organised!
Glad you think so! 😊

The chandeliers may be stored hanging down from the ceiling 🙂

Hey, where did you get the cord guide sheet? Could you add a link?
I got it directly from Bobbiny. They have a similar one on their website and now even an online version shop.bobbiny.com/de/56-color-card
