I have been running the Spitfire with the D3CRM Micro from Haley Strategic for a couple years now - I have not been able to find a setup that I like more. It handles L4 ceramic 10x12s + a pad perfectly, very comfortable distribution. I have 5 plate carriers and it’s by far my favorite.
I have a complete setup of Direct Action Gear. They have been expanding their product line and I have about everything they have made. Great quality gear.
Yeah, i also have some pouches, their backpack and their carbine sling and can't argue. I'm thinking of picking up a set of their new Vanguard Uniform.
@@icorfieldtac I have the uniform. Very nice. I also have the new Halifax backpack witch is great and has many features that others dont have like the quick loosen and/or release straps.
@@icorfieldtac No sure of the retail price. I may have spent $2-3K with Direct Action for my own gear alone. I try to pay for the quality when it comes to gear like this.
Thanks for a very quality review. I'm on search for PC and I've seen countless videos. But your review shows exactly what it should. Nice job, I'm gonna check out your channel now
Very nice Review Mate! You kept it short and on the point, unless like other 30 min reviews about a magazine like other channels. Hope to see more reviews in the near future! :D
Good to hear, mate! On my private channel i once made a review about a backpack that took 33min. and it was received badly. I'm glad to hear that i have improved! :D
Absolutely. I had a lot of situations where the plate carrier was sticking out, due to color or camo of the uniform. However Coyote was my favourite colour for one-color camo. With me being in the military now, i had changed my mind and would also prefer olive drab
I love it. I own both JPC 2.0 (in Multicam) and this (in Pencott Greenzone). I would say that they compete each other really well. However I love the material and cutting shape of the Spitfire more. Their magazine well is bad for tactical reload because the inner texture is sticky unlike other pouches. I use the clip-on mag pouch instead. I got 2 from UR tactical in Pencott greenzone. They also sell comfort set. It is not nesessary but get it if you can. Ask me question and I will get back to you.
I once owned a JPC, and eventough it was lightweight, it was extremely uncomfortable for me, and (regardless of temperatures) i was sweaty within few minutes (regardless if i was moving or not). To me the JPC is just two pieces cordura sewed together (which is sometime exactly what a particular person needs). Somebody (a hardcore 'know-it-all' MILSIM player) once told me the JPC cannot handle weight very well, that it will sit very loose in comparison to others, is that true?
Everything held up perfectly. I just dragged this thing through muddy hell 4 weeks ago, during an entire weekend of Airsoft, other peoples gear failed, mine didn't. There is not a single scrath anymore. Amazing quality. Yes, i have clipped countless chest rigs and front panels from other brands to it works flawless
I don't know for sure, buddy. Since we don't have that type of stuff in Germany. But due to the length of the flap (that closed the plate of into the PC is) is long enough to fit longer/thicker plates aswell. So it should work. If you want me to send you a pic, you can DM me on my Instagram account
I never wore the Templars Gear, but from what i see i can imagine that the Templars Gear PC fits the body a bit strange (i dont know for sure), it looks a little exotic :D
If zippers on the back really and admin pouch on the front really make a difference for what you do, then go ahead. Be sure to not waste your money on something you don't really need if the Templars Gear PC suits you well. Just saying buddy (don't do the same mistakes i did in my gearwhoring life) :D
It will definitely fit. Mainly because of the elastic fabric on the inside and the spacious closing flap on the bottom. Not to mention that the Spitfire is made to hold SAPI plates.

Last i checked, the Crye JPC cost 500 bucks. Seems like i've been misinformed. However i used the JPC for a while and i despise that thing. And 25 bucks for a better PC seems worth it for me. But each their own 👍🏽
You can buy the JPC directly from CRYE for $210. You must’ve used the first gen JPC when they first came out and we’re awful. They’re amazing now and really comfortable.
Yeah it was a first gen and it was nothing more than two pieces of cordura held together. Uncomfortable as fuck, the Spitfire afterwards felt god-like. But i'll be sure to check out the new ones, if i get a chance
Icorfield Tactical likewise, I think I might try the Spitfire. Hey if you get a chance, you should try the Shellback Tactical Banshee. It’s ridiculously comfortable. I could sleep in it🤣

Adaptive Green is probably the best solid color for most situations.
Absolutely. I had a lot of situations where the plate carrier was sticking out, due to color or camo of the uniform.

How would you use bungee cummerbund neatly though? I would like to use Crye Skeletal with Tubes on one but can't see how they would neatly attach.
what color did you by?
and what are the brand of the rifle pouches? where can i by them?
I bought the Coyote Brown version.
Those Fast Rifle Mag Pouches made by Templars Gear, i bought them off Recon Company (located in Germany)
@@icorfieldtac thanks!

Is there the same Problem with the JPC 2.0?
How does the Spitfire react on Spray Paint
Does on the back is clip for name of the formation? For exemple "police?
The velcro on the back, yes. "POLICE" or "SHERIFF" or anything else in that nature
Tolles Video 👍🏻 Die Machart des Plattenträgers erinnert sehr stark an die von Lindnerhof Taktik 🤔
Direct Action ist ja auch der polnische Lindnerhof Taktik 😉
After several months how is the spitfire holding up? Stitching, laminating, etc.
Also the clips are swift clip compatible yes?
Everything held up perfectly. I just dragged this thing through muddy hell 4 weeks ago, during an entire weekend of Airsoft, other peoples gear failed, mine didn't. There is not a single scrath anymore. Amazing quality.
Yes, i have clipped countless chest rigs and front panels from other brands to it works flawless
Try PSIGEAR PX-1, improved design, better material, but half in price.
I'll check it out if i ever need to buy a new plate carrier.
But at the moment i'm off sewing myself some plate carriers in different camos
Are the clips from the front panned included in the pack? Your you had to purchase them separately?
The female clips on the plate carrier itself, were included. However the clips on the front panel itself i had to buy seperately.
Icorfield Tactical :-(
Will this plate carrier fit 1 inch thick plates? Ar500 has lightweight plates but are thicker than normal steel plates. Great review, thanks

How much does it cost?
Why u not uploading a lot?
The MK1 version costs 250€.
Because i dont have very much time, because of work.

I'm currently runing a very similar one from Templars Gear but I'm considering switching to the Spitfire

It fits great at least mine but I would love having the zippers on the rear and the admin pouch of the front... that’s why I’m considering swapping.

Can I fit a 1.2 inch thick large sapi in a large a large spitfire?
It will definitely fit. Mainly because of the elastic fabric on the inside and the spacious closing flap on the bottom. Not to mention that the Spitfire is made to hold SAPI plates.
Warum sind die Videos auf englisch ?
Weil der Großteil meiner Zuschauer, aus nicht deutsch-sprechenden Ländern kommt. Und weil es Gearwhores auf der ganzen Welt gibt
Amazing video keep up the great work friend looking forward to a new one👍🇵🇹🤘
Will sapi plates fit this carrier?
Perfectly.
Its extra build to fit SAPI plates.
I bought the medium size version, and medium SAPIs fit perfectly.

Only issue, is that it cost $25 MORE THAN THE CRYE JPC🤦♂️. I’d buy a CRYE over this.
