Absolutely fascinating conversation.So glad I happened onto this channel.You and Cary are alive and analytical. I never could understand why Christians are not to fight bad policies and don't ask questions because we are under the financial thumb of the IRS.
What the pastor mentioned early in the podcast is likely was going to be coming to whole lot more churches who don’t count out to the government or just out right close. get ready.
When a church preaches the truth, it is always attacked by those who hate the truth of the Gospel.
Love and value and respect you men for your stands.
The bible is clear about same sex relations, unruly children, and even the role of women in the church and in public. The bible is clear on how we are to stone some of the perpetrators of these sins to death. And yet, we cherry pick and refuse to follow God's commands. This is all so hypocritical.
We often complain about the Muslim countries being inhumane, when in reality, they are following the doctrines of their faith. And although we may not agree with their faith system, we clearly do not follow ours. Our faith does not ask us to wait for "Caesar" as in the government, to do our biblical obligations for us. Our bible does not say to use guns or lethal injections, in order to numb the pain of death for the sinner. The admonition is that we see the sin being done, and we do the stoning directly by our own hands against the sinner. Today's societies that stone witches to death In the middle of their square is more Christian than ours.
The cowardice of our western society is palpable. Hopefully, you can give an acclamation for this gross misconduct in our society. Thank you.
"The Social Justice Gospel seems to divide the world into two separate compartments.
One that are perpetual victims who can never ever be healed of their victimhood.
And the others are allegedly perpetual abusers that can never ever ever be forgiven for whatever abuse they allegedly have done.
That is the opposite of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ takes people who were legitimate victims and heals them and turns them into overcomers. And the Gospel of Jesus Christ takes wicked men who legitimately may have been abusers and forgives them of what they have done and transforms their nature so they no longer want to be an abuser.
I think of the Apostle Paul before his conversion, without any violation of his own conscience, according to his own testimony, murdered Christians. He thought he was doing the right thing.
The real Gospel sets people free and alleviates us all from the terrible burden and guilt of our sin. It reminds us, the True Gospel, that Jesus Christ is the ultimate victim of all history, and WE are all the abusers through our sin which put Him on the cross.
The Social Justice Gospel, it's heartbreaking, because we put ourselves in front of Jesus and declare ourselves to be the great victims and everyone owes us. It's not true...it's not true...we owe JESUS."
THIS is brilliant and pinpoints exactly what's wrong with the Social Justice Gospel.

for so long I have been looking for believers that would asses our role in the society where we live by God's Grace, thank u brothers for this right biblical view I have seen detrimental changes in the church teachings in the last 30 years that I have see the weakening ofour God give stand in our influence in the society thank again

babies and bring them up Christian), a baby does not need to repent then be
baptised. That's because baptism is a means of grace - water and the Word.
Receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is the key!
I remember reading The Jesuits:The Society of Jesus and the Betrayal of the Roman Catholic Church by Malachi Martin back in the 80s. I’m not a catholic but in this particular case I agree that they are a part of this so I’m glad you included them, especially now under this particular pope.

I reject the 10 commandments as having authority over me. However, 9 of the 10 apply because they're in the newest Testament. Homosexuality is wrong in the newest Testament, as well as everything else you speak to. I am totally against easy belivism and the claim by Stanley that there's errors in the tanakh. This social Gospel is not the result of antinomian and in fact it is the mis application of the prophets.
Consider not confusing those who deny that we do have laws with dispensationalists. To deny the Mosaic law today is not to deny law. I commend what you're trying to do, just that this is NOT the fault of dispensationalists who reject the laws of the tanakh.
I was there during Jerry Falwell and consider what he did by getting into politics very good. This guy is also trying the same.
Absolutely agree with these guys. And have been of like mind for some time. However I'm not tech savvy. Is this movie already out and how can I find it
I dont like the confusion with Rome. One thing is to say we dont agree with Charismatics and another thing is to refer to brotherly love in a conversation where catholics are in the group. Also to make it seem like the social gospel is worse than Romes Gospel. I'm concerned with a lot that was said here

As someone who knows the bible and can read it from the original Greek, I tell you this is total propaganda. If the church does not start showing compassion for others it will die.
No way: there is no way God would depend on our understanding of Greek as the only avenue to attain the truth of His word.

Are you a Theonomist?
I'm for Christian Civilization. I'm for applying the principles of the whole Bible, including the Old Testament. I don't believe every civil law in the old testament is applied today the same way it would be applied in the ancient world. I try to apply things from the OT the way Paul does in 1 Tim. 5:18
The short answer is- It depends what you mean by theonomist. The term carries a lot of baggage. I'm for "God's law." I'm not in the mold of Rushdooney or Gary North though.

Any false doctrine is at enmity with God, this includes CALVINISM. You are not reformed, you belive Calvinism. God's breathed words teach today what they have always taught. REGENERATION (being born again) does not take place before hearing the message about Christ Jesus and believing with faith what they heard, believing in Jesus the anointed one as Ephesians 1:13-14; Acts 10; Galatians 3:2 instantiate. God's breathed words teach today that mankind has the God given ability to choose to follow after God's will or run contrary to it and this is demonstrated throughout the Old and New testaments; Jeremiah 7:31, 19:5, 32:35 each say that the Jews did something that NEVER ENTERED HIS MIND! This is demonstrated in Jeremiah 18 where God is like the potter and if He has PLANNED DESTRUCTION OF A NATION and that Nation turns FROM WICKEDNESS God will NOT DO WHAT HE PLANNED. All of Calvinisms 9, not 5, doctrines are false. 1) Calvinisms DEFINITION OF SOVEREIGN 2) MITICULOUS DETERMINISM 3) A SECRET WILL OF GOD 4-8) 5 POINTS called TULIP 9) FALSE GRACE. I agree concerning the discussion in this video concerning our society, but the idea of reformation is a deception- it should be explained that reformed theology is concerning Catholicism, as opposed to Catholicism, not a change from what GOD'S BREATHED WORDS HAVE ALWAYS SAID AS THE GREEK NEW TESTAMENT MANUSCRIPTS INSTANTIATE.
