Chubs needs to learn how TO be STILL !! Peeking around trees with a turkey at 40 yards. Oh he didn’t see me lol lol Another bird at 40 yards let’s sit up from a laying position. Why did he leave !! SLOW DOWN AND BE STILL ! I don’t know how you do it Dave I’d be done put a club upside the head of Chubb lol 😂
Man my heart was beating like crazy and felt like I was right there just watching that longbeard strutting and gobbling with Chubs laying behind that tree. Could feel the disappointment through your view finder. That's why we love it so much and that's just how it goes sometimes. Stings a bit still for ya, but great job y'all!!!
Our season here in wv opened Monday. My first week has been alot like that.called one up Tuesday and spooked him trying to get on him. Called one up Thursday and missed him and called one up to 13 yards Friday and my wife missed him standing like a statue. It is discouraging just gotta keep digging. As always great video!
I think chubs has A. D. D ! He can’t sit still ! And always runs to get in there kitchen ! When he gets there he moves his head his whole body he just has to move !
Gotta love it. They will drive you crazy. The last week in Florida I called 2 in on different days on public land but never could get a shot. They been called to so much all season they just wouldn't come out in open to get a shot. Keep it up guys I love the project and the hunys
Hey Dave make your font larger so we can read it easier on our cell phones while on the road going turkey hunting. Love your work. My 3 daughters and I got a turkey and they wanted to smoke a cigar!
Eh Dave my name is Matthew Parkman We will probably never meet but I gotta tell you we would hit it off I’m a dang turkey nut too, I was born 9/30/78 im gonna guess you were born around the same time? It would make sense, very similar we are! We would definitely pass as twins
Both of these guys are on the extremely short list of those who have completed the US Slam (a bird in all 49 states). I'd say they know what they are doing.
Making the right moves is entirely situational. Mistakes happen. Easy for us to couch quarterback. No two birds are the same. Btw Let’s be real here, they are not athletes. Just ordinary guys that have invested a ton of time, something anyone can do if dedicated
He presses his own. He just started selling some on his website. He sells the 2.5 reed in ghost cut and batwing, I've heard him say his 4.5 reed ghost cut is his go-to yelper when he's hunting and when he won the NWTF Calling Contest.
Bout the start of 1:45 mark had me cracking up when CHubbs was telling botut hat turkey from last year....bahahahaha!!!!!

Been hunting mathias the past week. Bird numbers are half of what they were 2 or 3 years ago but the gobbling has been good until about 830 for me
Hanging out, LOL. Chubs quit grunting, it's not deer season. Man that last hunt was intense, thought surely it was going to happen.
Chubbs should absolutely get into the competition calling side of things too.
That's how they met, at a contest in GA years ago.

Really enjoyed this one. That’s about to luck I’ve been having this last week. Tomorrow’s looking good though!
Man if u had a jake fan to throw up that last Tom would’ve broke for sure
Nope Chubb can’t be still he’s always moving !! He was seen by every bird and wonders why they putt and leave.
Looks like you guys overcalled those birds. They knew what to do. Y’all would’ve had one over your shoulder several time if you stayed patient!

What kind of Shotgun y'all using in this video?
At 11:00, it would have turned into a coyote hunt!
There’s one standing behind you at 15:18 that’s spying on y’all
What calls were you using that mouth call sounded amazing
