I love how real everything is presented. You've always said you're a hunter first, cameraman second. I try and film what I can but for me, its all about the hunt and if I don't get it on video, so be it. Congrats! Our season starts May 1 if the Gov. Don't lock us down first.

Hello Dave. I am about to embark from Wyoming on a multi-state turkey hunt over the next 5 weeks, as a healthcare assignment I had taken 5 weeks of vacation to do has cancelled due to the Kung Flu. The tour will include MS, AL, SC, IN, and OH and may include ND, SD, NE, and/or KS on the way back to Wyoming if tags are available. I've never done any hunt like this before, and I am trying to figure out how to handle keeping the meat good during that time. Ordinarily, I would have places I could freeze the meat and then keep frozen in a cooler with dry ice, but with this stupid virus situation, I will not have much access to freezers for any length of time. What do you regarding meat preservation when you are on the road for weeks at a time? Any recommendations or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Eric

Dave , how are you going to hunt in the future when you can't do your thing your way ? When you can't crawl on your belly without pulling stomach and back muscles ? when your legs feel like lead and feel stiff ? When you feel like you need a nap after a few hours ? As you get older you will either go without turkeys more and more OR you will start using decoys for your youtube cannel ? Or will you quit when you can't do it your way ? I am sure you feel you can do it forever, but you won't be able to. Right now I am sure you are starting to feel it on those longer days ? There is a reason the older men don't do it your way ? They own there own land and feed the turkeys and use decoys so they won't have to walk as far for a turkey for there channels ?
Keep trying though ? It keeps you feeling younger( It don't make you younger). Do it for as long as you can. Not trying to be negative, just truthful and curious. No need to answer, If you don't want.
I like how you keep the failures in your videos, the real deal. To many others paints it like every day is a walk at the beach. Thanks for taking us with you on your hunts. The good the bad and the ugly.
Because no one wants to see anyone shoot a turkey over bait or in a blind at least in my opinion. I know I sure don't and don't want to hunt that way either
@@bertlen02 Good for you ! But just because someone else wants to do it that way, don't make it bad or that's not hunting garbage. All people don't all hunt for the same reasons? Meat hunters don't care how they get there birds, and that's OK too? Isn't it? How ever you want to do it is great for you ? Not everybody.
