It's giving 90s-00s MTV !!!!!!!
When you sat on the bed with the outside clothesssss😂😂
disGUSTed and aSHAMed
stanky boi
I legit popped off my bed too 🤣
“We are not an animal.” *strips*
That’s the biggest turnoff and dealbreaker for me 😂😂
I GASPPED LMAO
the editing on this is insane!!!
I refer to them as "petty edits" bc they are such little details but they MATTTTTERRRRR
@@damondominique AND I LOVEEEEE ITTTT
He’s the king of aesthetic
@@damondominiqueThe moment you make a course on finding your editing style, sign me up.❤
What camera does he use ?
I’m 25 been watching you since I was 14 or 15 and I truly feel bad for the people who don’t know your existence or watch your videos, quality content
I'm a graphic designer and let me tell you.. you ALREADY have a great eye for design!! The technical stuff you can learn with UA-cam - it's not easy, but it's possible! (Edit: I have a degree but know many designers who are self-taught!)
Agreed. He’d benefit from someone to critique and have design convos with. Way more helpful than a structured class. All the technical parts are google-able.
right? i'd take classes FROM HIM on graphic design
@@Grizzlyneon but it's SO much faster when u have a person you can ask immediately. i studied architecture and learning to use autocad was a steep learning curve - i took a week long class, which of course helped, but having an older student by my side to help me with all the tips and shortcuts was incomparably more useful. same goes for when i was learning to use ps, ai, id etc.
So true, I majored in Art History but I'm currently working as a UI/UX designer
@@drsalka this is very true, its the one big thing i miss about college like discords and groups still won't give a critique enough at times.
Invest in a shopping trolley. I could definitely see you living your best artist life at artist residencies across the world.
omg maybe my new thing is taking one of those grandma grocery trolly carts around the world
@@damondominiquewhenever I stayed in Paris, I’ve seen so many people with those! I thought it’s only a grandma thing in Poland and the west made it cool 😎
hey guys im in marks and spencer - do you need anything????
Always lol
Percy pig please
salt and vinegar twists please thanks love xx
no bc boycott !!
call it 'M and S' to appear more local
I’m a 51-year-old woman over here just like my boy Damon has a new video. 🤩
Lol…..and I’m 52 I just live for his videos😂
In my opinion, the BEST thing I have ever done in my education is make every assignment work to my benefit. Meaning - work to become something that is relevant to my life and practice and can help me grow in ways that directly relate to what I am doing in the world.. This makes me actually care about what I am doing! Ps. I hope one day I get to have my moment of running into you in life. With Warmth, Emily/Amalia
Sounds great in theory, but how do you do it in practice? For instance, if you have an assignment on an obscure topic you couldn’t care less about?
@@kajin6776 I had a design professor who told us that as we research a topic we really don't care about, we have to find something that connects with us, which then helps us find a way to add in our interests/personalities. Obviously in a design context, but I think that advice can be applied to other areas (basically good research is key)
1:39 that’s me!! It was lovely meeting you 🥰
Damon, you keep me motivated to keep going through life. I'm at an anguished age of it, where I'm young enough to not face any huge consequences for inactivity, but because of that I got NOTHING. No car, money, job, or school. Before I started watching your channel I thought I'd just be miserable, but now, I'm expanding my hobbies, hoping to meet new people, and writing and drawing a visual narrative to upload to UA-cam in hopes to inspire at least one person. Cheers to the struggles and wins alike! And thank you for being transparent with us. ❤
Don’t fret, stay kind to yourself but diligent in fulfilling your purpose 💗
These last two videos of his have really sparked something in me, I think I miss learning just for the fun of learning. I think I will sign up for an Italian class or art class at my community center! Here’s to us both finding a spark of excitement for a corner of our lives!
me too! D making me wanna start 5 new hobbies ❤️
I love your transitions they remind me so much of those vintage educational videos they show you in school from the 90s
I love that you’re such a proponent for education and learning even though you yourself dropped out of college. It’s inspiring and goes to show that everyone can be educated and knowledgeable even if you don’t follow the “traditional” path.
Babes please, you have enough Graphic Design juice flowing through you already.
When you take a course in a group there will always be curriculum that you feel is irrelevant to your specific goals in that moment. But same as everything, the random things you learn today can ignite unexpected ideas in the future.
now this is a real and true example of someone who is hungry to improve his art and his life and does something about it. bravo
native Londoner her re your bus thing; usually if you are sitting next to somebody and another seat becomes free where you wouldn't be sitting next to somebody then you move because it's more polite plus just avoids sitting so close to other person unnecessarily, I dunno if that actually was the situation though
Oh no it was even worse 😅 the bus was packed and he went to sit next to someone else.
rip
@@damondominique honestly it could be cuz the seat was wet istg sometimes those bus seats are hello sus
@@damondominique it could be a light thing too if they were next to the window - on the bus if you're sitting in the sunlight it can feel like you're trapped in a greenhouse and so they could have moved seat so they weren't so boiling
@@damondominique Maybe heard you sniffle or cough and he was trying to avoid getting sick
you are the best content creator I follow... your videos are immaculate it's so impressive!!!!
I wish I could share some of ur travel process like how you find places and flights and visas 😊
your humour and laugh is so fucking healing and comforting. you are a precious precious being
I loved the moment when you were just happy with your art work, and just how full of life you are overall! Makes me excited about my own mundane activities of school, life, etc.
there’s just so much LIFE in you. i love that - watching your videos makes me happy
This video is sooo nostalgic for me! I went to design school in Toronto and everything is the same! Same long crowded commute, same experimental projects, same white walls and concrete floors that make misplaced furniture look like art 🤣!
This course seems great to start with graphic design, maybe not ifor you but in generell. It reminded me of some classes i needed to take in my first year. They are a lot more about the visual eye than technical skills, but those are things you need as a basis.
The transitions (for each day)
ARE IT
ARE GIVING
ARE TRANSITIONINGGGGGGG
~so happy to see this upload, as always ~
Sorry but this edit is SO good
You mentioned needing a graphic design coach of sorts, the digital space has workshops to learn adobe softwares like illustrator and photoshop etc. They're super helpful! There's also critical forum thursday evenings, lectures which help a ton listening to other people's work so that's good for inspo! This collage style you showed reminds me of David carson!
Part British haven’t been to London in years, may just go because Damon is really inspiring me. I’ve been scared to travel alone and learn new cultures so I stay on da blocc. But it’s okay for me to leave the block sometimes 😊✊🏽💙
Take money. London is dumb expensive these days.
As a born and bred Londoner this totally resonated - and one of the reasons I live in the French countryside now. I was back in London last week and I had your exact rush hour cross town tube vs bus dilemma plus the ensuing belongings explosion on the bus floor with my multiple, multiple bags. Feeling your pain there! Also my thought on arriving was... I've just spent my ENTIRE weekend budget in Pret on coffee and a soup! London is ridiculously expensive now.
damonnnn I’m telling you sometimes your videos feel like they were made FOR ME - im literally dropping out of uni today and hearing you say “I’m paying to be here” was so validating - I’ve always been the ‘bad kid’ asking way too many questions, arguing with staff, challenging processes because if something doesn’t make logical sense why tf do I have to do it?? Just loved this reminder that being a self learner can be fun and effective and good and if these systems don’t serve us then we have the power to just leave ❤️ love to you king
😂😂😂 i love this comment! my life has made so much more sense without traditional school!!!!
I went to LCC for my graphic design degree and also found it quite frustrating that it was all very theoretical and conceptual, and I literally had to teach myself how to actually use the digital creative tools.
Bro finally someone who admits london is lowk exhausting 😂also he goin to the rainbow building in london …. hes on brand 😭
Ya know! Everything is always an hour away 🙄🤣
Honestly i do miss this part
your videos always pop up as i’m questioning what’s next for me. (i still don’t know but you give me good ideas)
unrelated, but i LOVE your editing!
I so admire the art and intentionality behind everything you put out. The effort and the talent is unmatched
I just love how wise you are with financial power to support your vision with sources you created super cleverly. I am a fan
dudeeeee your videos are just everything. been watching for like 6 years and you're still elevating! you make me and so many other people want to take full advantage of this life we've been given. :)
just moved back to LA after living in London for two years & watching you walk through Old Street just made me so nostalgic, that's where my first flat was 🥹 we met at your London book signing btw!! excited to see what your journey there looks like🫶
you inspire me so much to never stop learning!! i’ve always had an interest in learning graphic design, and taking drum lessons, and learning languages. i just graduated from my bachelors and now i’m reminded to be excited for learning other things unrelated to my career!
London has my heart and with Damon there ❤❤❤😮😮
There you go again, living my dream.. 😄♥
Your videos, and this one in particular, are visually beautiful
L’invitation au voyage is one of my faves. I memorized it in French when I was learning the language. I would sneak into Buttes Chaumont during confinement because I lived on the corner and would run around the park reciting it to myself to distract myself from the boredom and pain of running and the world being on hold.
The cinematography/coloring is next level king status
How are you so inspiring and entertaining and évidemment so gorgeous all in the same time??!
Graphic designer here. You really should check HSE school of design (art direction, design courses), as they allow to work on your own projects while studying. I've compared different countries (courses and degrees) and this one is one of the best! And your editing is so great!! well as always!
ok how has the vlogger with the best cinematography and editing on youtube gotten even better at cinematography and editing
what camera and editing software does he use i love it
@@Alif406 i suppose it doesn't really matter the tools i think he's just acutely aware of his composition and pacing
@@n0wh3r3f4s7 But even when he's holding the camera, it feels so smooth and stabilized, that at least matters in terms of cameras
I felt like this my whole graphic design undergrad. Turns out I was a painter stuck in a program where I couldn't express myself authentically. Love your videos!
Damon, I would need you to put out a video editing course. Your videos are just such a vibes!
I’m beyond excited for this new course!
Loving the constant uploads!!!!
my heart skips a beat every time i see a new video on my homepage 🤭 i love the aesthetic of these videos so much 🧡

Omgg Damon! The editing on this video is on another level!! Thank you for always putting out some of the best content on UA-cam!!
this is super inspiring, lots of things to think about!! AND your graphic design and eye for it is so fire

I'm heading to London and then Cardiff next week, so this just got me so pumped.
I love your life Damon! Making good money, traveling, but still willing to learn things.
Can’t believe how late I found you…. Been obsessed after two days of binge watching. Keep going guuurl
Ahh I loved this video!! I always get such a lust for life after I watch Damon's videos!!
I love your adventures and willingness to learn with your delightful openness to life. You are so funny 🤩❤✨❤️🤩
Your videos are just so good. I look forward to watching your content every time you post. The editing, the framing, the jokes, the insight. Great content that is gorgeous to watch.
I love how you’re always wanting to learn :)
your work inspires me SOOOOO MUCH
I'm going to London (and Paris) in May and this just made me so excited for my tripppp :) Keep rockin it Damon
I love how free you are...have become in your videos! xox
I felt seen watching this, when you said you have enjoy your life because you pay for it…I don’t I began to have that level of thinking until I began learning French and the world and meeting people with really cool sentences.💕 I’m so grateful for your channel you changed so many perspectives and I bought the book and can’t wait for the travel course to come out! And yes you have rhythm 🥰
love from Chicago 🥂😇
Wellness Formula is absolutely FABULOUS!
This was lovely. And as someone going back to school as well, I share the same sentiments . I’m a self taught designer too, so everything you said was very real. I don’t want to work for a design agency, I want to amplify my own work - so again. Very real!!!
Damonnn im a london native and it makes me so happy to see u livin life here (although im ready to zoom outta here im literally tryna move abroad rn). But anyways ive been following ur videos since I was 19 and im 25 now and every move u make, i gag, i enjoy, i live! Keep doing YOU💪🏾you inspire me so much
My day is complete when you posted!
any bus in old street is gonna be packed but love to see you in my city again!
Hey Damon, I hope you’re feeling better. I was in NYC and as you know the public transportation is always packed and that’s why I wear a mask in the subway always.and so I don’t get sick.
Yasss a viewer here from London 👋🏻 impeccable editing as always
everything about this is next level !! 👏
The way the professor looked at you when choosing the tiny papers... DID Y'ALL SEE THAT? 16:47
time stamp??
@@GhastlyGhabbyy 16:47 🤣
i love your videos they're one of a kind, you are one of a kind
Definitely encourage people to take creative classes or artistic short courses! It's always fun to learn.
it’s giving the matrix so much I love it!!
your editing/filming in this one is fire
Damon!!! U give us a masterpiece with every video! I’m deadass. Usually, because of how overstimulated I am consuming content nonstop to avoid feeling discomfort 💅🏼, I just have any ol video/podcast playing in the background at 2x speed, but I would never dare doing that with ur content cus every frame was so meticulously crafted. Also u low key remind me of Agnes varda in ur style, but at the same time it’s so unique and special to u! Ridiculous 🤯
Yesss, the King of doing things is back
Clicked on your video so fast!! Lemme grab my coffee!!🏃♀️☕️
I loved the editing on this one! fyi I love them all
