What did Afghans ever do to you lot, why were you in their country, why were you trying to kill them after all the Taliban are Afghans as well. Leave the Afghans alone to tend to their affairs, should not have been in Afghanistan in the first place.
I understand the veterans need to believe that it was not for nothing and that they did some good there . The truth is otherwise , what they left behind now is far worse than before they got there . The pent up rage and hate that will be unleashed on the population especially those that are judged to have work and fought alongside NATO will be swift and savage .
In the long run it isn't even worth thinking about the consequences of military aggression.

sadly politicians throw around army for thier own benefit, i dont like people who join the army, they are the cause of mostly pain in the world, especially USA army, but i know they are manipulated by politicians and thier agendas, so sometimes i don't block my empathy, like big part of this video.
Well what I know is the United States and Great Britain which is an ally of the United States have lost the war on Afghanistan and the Taliban has won after 20 years.
It's not the soldiers fault, it's the higher military officials, the fat men who sit in their pretty uniforms calling shots from large comfy office chairs, sending our men and women to fight a war and ultimately give their lives for the higher brasses and politicians profit..
To every veteran out there in the UK, U.S. and our allies who were with us.. Its not your fault, it's not in you. You guys did your job, and did it beyond anything any 1st world civilian could ever do. This disaster in Afghanistan, the blood that has spilt, and is to come, is on the hands of the politicians and higher brass, on Bidens hands and his administration and those who sided with him, not you guys.
They wasted their time, their health and often their lives, and never came home to the support and respect they had earned with blood. Deep down I always wanted to be a part of it, but in truth I knew it was a going to be a waste when all said and done. Others I knew went in the services, as far as I know they all made it out again.

This soldier mentioned that she didn't mind a bullet that will end her suffering while on duty. Many American soldiers did harm themselves while in the thick of the Vietnam war. They self-mutilated themselves so that they could be discharged. Foot injuries from a bullet from their own gun were quite common. But Trump didn't need to do that as he "suffered" from bone spur. Rich kids always manage to find excuses to skip the draft.
Yet she CHOSE to join the army , it was not mandatory .
Foreign involvement in Afghanistan has never gone well. The British in the 19th Century, the Soviet Union last century and now this century the US, and Britain again. As the husband of a late relative of mine once put it “We (outsiders) have never won”.

Served 93-97. Got out when I was 23. When 9/11 happened. I knew my military history well. I told my GF at the time. (My wife now) The Russians lost. Why would the USA do better? 20 years later I was right. I am so glad I did not go back in to fight in Afghanistan….. Best choice I ever made. For years I was upset I did not see combat and I hated the time I served…
The foot soldiers are back to their family in USA and UK, they are not angry nor sad at all except the media. 20 years is a long time to end their family separation for good. 😏😏

Professional soldiers in places like the US and UK are weird personality types. I have talked to a guy who was a US special forces officer and his poor grasp of the big picture was bizarre to me - more like a kid than an adult.. These people have to have a seriously distorted sense of reality to justify putting their lives and future welfare in the hands of such disreputable people as Bush, Blair and all the flunkies who surround them. When they are inevitably betrayed they get disappointed but it is obvious to any sane person that was always going to be the outcome.
