I had my 400 dollar tent get destroyed by the wind last weekend, I will never buy a expensive tent again.
Thanks for sharing
Exactly my point, sorry to hear about that though.
See you on the trail!!!
Thanks for the honest review, I can’t stomach paying more then 100 bucks for a tent, you are spot on on your take!
I’m in the same boat, can’t see spending a lot on a tent. Thank you for your honest review. Great work
I was hoping to find that one on Amazon , It’s only available on EBay nice colors too. Thanks for sharing!!
I refuse to pay top dollar for a tent that will be destroyed within a few years. I agree with your theory on buying a cheap budget tent!!
Looks nice, I’m using a piece of crap Colman tent that is 5 times bigger in pack size because I’m a cheap skate.
Thanks foe sharing I’m definitely getting one!!
I never realized that the budget tents came with the small aluminum poles, what is the actual length on the poles? Cheers!
I agree. Influencers are high end gear salesmen. I ride a 250 and have tight packing. I for years just used a tarp tied from bike to ground...but that gets cold in winter. Was going to carry a bivy, but ran across the 6.5x4x3ft two (one) man winter tent for $28 at a hardware store.
That thing is 2lbs, and is a very skinny bag but 2ft. I use a roll foam pad on my forks, and that rolls up in the center.
The tent vs tarp means I can leave my camp gear setup for rides and it does not just look like an abandoned body like the bivy. Better than a bivy, the unit isn't I my face all night if it rains.
Hot in summer though (one small screen door and a 6" square vent with a tiny 8" square rain fly.....but it holds in heat on cool nights in the highlands which are more than hot ones.
I've considered buying this tent too for multinight summer camping. Thanks.
Thank you !!!
Love the feedback
Good honest review, thanks for the additional links below I ended up getting the Amazon tent you shared. I can’t wait to try it. Welcome aboard God bless America ✌️🇺🇸
Hey, awesome channel! I got almost all of my gear at REI, but I bought it during their sidewalk sale for well over 50% off. I’m using the MSR Hubba Hubba, camped all over the USA and Canada. Cheers!
I like REI, almost an obsession going in there
@@ADV_Agenda I usually only shop the sidewalk sale because I am a notorious cheapskate. 😂
Thanks for the review. Looks like the link is no longer available right now but I'll keep an eye on it and check later. Walmart had it listed for $130 when I did a quick Google search, unfortunately.
Their inventory on eBay is always spotty but they do replenish their stock, Walmart, they are a bunch of crooks
He just added other links for Amazon as well. Cheers
Will two people fit no problem in that unit????
Absolutely, I've done it . Plenty of room for sure!
I really like the orange tent, how durable do you think the bottom of the tent is?
Thank you!!
About . 3 mm thick
Man, I spent so much money on tents it's not funny.
If you want to spend some dough for a tent that comes with half of a good sleep system, then I suggest going for the Haven hammock tent. I got it for around 200 bucks on kickstarter. And it was the best investment I ever made. I recently backed the Haven Safari because I suggested they make it out of canvas. They actually listened.
The tent can be used as a hammock with the inflatable rubber matt as a lay flat hammock with optional bug net (can be zipped on or off), or it can be a lay flat tent with two trekking poles, or branch sticks to keep it up. Love the honesty. Keep the videos coming.
I really want to try the hammock system, witch one would you suggest??

Search for Haven hammock tent. Or look on my channel. I have it on there. I bought it two years ago and finally got to use it last year. It is a game changer.
@@mediocreman561 awesome , I will.
Thank you!!!!
You Hijacked this review.. They are $350 now just sayin...

Sorry. Didn't mean to. But, I am speaking from experience though. A cheap tent is cool, but you will end up spending more on one if you replace it every year. And with cheap tents, you will replace them often.
As a guy who camps on a sport bike, carrying a hammock that turns into a tent with an inflatable mattress is priceless. All you need with it is a sleeping bag, a small uco candle lantern with citronella candles, a small table, chair, cook kit, water bladder, fire kit, small saw, knife, clothes, toiletry bag, and food and you got yourself a few nights out on your bike.
Cause getting out there and being as comfortable as you can with very little is awesome.
But the things that you can't skimp on whenever you're camping out with a motorcycle is shelter, sleep and seating. And with the hammock tent you already have three things covered because you can do all three with it.
I am going to get the orange.. but the 3 man now is like 89 bucks... subscribed..
I can't believe how fast the price of everything is going up. I originally paid $49 for my first one. Totally ridiculous. Did you look on my links? I found some other ones on Amazon that are very similar at a reasonable price
@@ADV_Agenda I did.. but the one I chose is bigger....
Thank you for this. I can’t stand how many motocamping channels are just trying to sell me gear that I’ll never be able to afford.
Awesome! Yes I totally agree I have friends with expensive stuff. One of them ripped his brand new tent. He was so bombed ...that's when I made a decision to go a different direction. I've had the same cheap tent for 3 years now.
Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it ✌️
Great video! Thanks for the great tips. Maybe I missed it but could you give the name and maybe a link for your sleeping pad and pillow? Thanks.
Thank you so much for watching!!

I love how small this packs up
I love saving money...thanks for making this public!!
Great video and thank you for the links in the description. Makes it easier to see what you're using and where to get it.
you should check out the one tigris line, a big step up over this tent but without the cost of the big agnes brands. They have a new black line out that looks really cool and would help keep the sun out in the morning! I already have like 6 tents but i'm tempted!
I definitely will, thank you so much for watching!!
✌️✌️
Crazy, tents 400-600 bucks, still using my old 3 man $29 backpacking tent from the 70's, learned how to roll it tight into a 6"x9" fits in a sea to summit small waterproof roll top stuff sack and bought shorter section 13" aluminum poles on amazon for $12 but same length because the originals were heavy fiberglass. If you take advice from a lot of these channels it would cost three grand to go camping.🤣 I could afford it now that I'm old but that new nylon is gonna have to do something mighty special over the old nylon for me to buy one.
Exactly!!
Thank you so much for watching ✌️✌️
I've been running a REI tent for a while, I'm going to try one of these it looks yo pack a lot smaller
I was thinking about buying one of these that k you for sharing
🍻🤘
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it!!! Cheers!🍻
Is it actually waterproof? Every cheap tent I've had leaked.
The water proofing lasted two years, 30 nights of camping. I just did a reseal of the taping and sprayed some waterproof spray on it just in case for this season. But so far in the leaks you have to do that on most tents.
