I hate when people criticize Chris Martin's voice....ya know, we hear alot of fake crap on the radio with a bunch of wannabe musicians singing terribly but then its corrected with all this technology so that it sounds perfect....I'm not saying they are all bad at singing but I hate when a guy like Chris Martin gets criticized for having a beautiful, natural voice while others, who cant sing but know a guy that can fix their voice with a computer, get all the praise...CHRIS MARTIN HAS AN AMAZING VOICE and while his technique is different than others, he sings with passion and emotion and that is what singing is all about when all is said and done, you convey a message and a meaning when you sing.....go see a Coldplay concert, he sounds the same as he does on his albums, thats why he is great and thats why he is well know throughout the world...

whenever i have a bad day i come home put on my computer and listen to coldplay...their music always makes me calm..and for a brief time very happy....he really has a beautiful voice that kinda sucks in to day dreaming or just saying..things aren"t that bad after all..
His talent in music writing and producing makes up for what the person below assumes is not "good singing". I personally think his voice fits perfectly with the kind of music he's producing and at least he doesn't use autoTune like many "artists" today !

I am a fan of that band since i heard "Yellow". Chris is amazing guy. Funny, talented and happy person. But there is one thing i need to tell. I miss the old Coldplay. Albums like X&Y, Parachutes, AROFTTH and Viva la Vida are fuc**ng brilliant, but in my opinion, half of Mylo Xyloto is just not them. I still love them, per month i will be on their concert in Warsaw and I'm so excited. But, COLDPLAY, if u see this, please remember, we still love you ! Just be yourself.

It's such a shame they decided to go mainstream for number ones, and subsequently the quality of music declined, and they became less of a band and more of a pop group. I think there is hope for the next album, I read an interview where they say they want to go back to their rock roots, so fingers crossed there is no over producation bullshit like there was last 2 albums.
