I was around 15 years old when i discovered Coldplay from the song Yellow which was on the intro for Boyhood. I fell in love with that song. I don't think any song before that or since then has made me feel this way. I fell in love with a guy because he sang like Chris Martin. It was an abusive relationship. I associated this song with him. I got out of him and the meaning of this song changed for me. Now it's a song about me and how i found myself. again and how i healed and how I'm my yellow before someone else being my yellow. I'm writing this on 23rd September, 2024 after failing to get tickets yesterday. By the end of this decade I'll be a doctor and will have gone to a Coldplay concert and I'll come back to this concert.
