  • I had a viewer comment about primers missing the primer arm and ending up on the floor. I thought this might make a good topic for a video so here it is.

This is the most helpful video I've seen on the Lee Safety Prime. Thanks!

I did this video for someone that asked about it, I figured if one person had problems, there were more. I'm glad you found it useful, and thanks for commenting.

I have the same press but never used it because quite frankly I really didn’t know how to and was a bit intimidated that I’d doing something wrong. Your video was helpful. Thanks!!

Not hard to use at all. Just set up each station and let it rip. I loaded 500 9mm after this video. Feel free to ask any questions.

I’m still using a single stage! Lol! I like the old style primer, I used parts from a new one to rebuild my old one! Lol!

I still use a single stage for a lot of my reloading. I'll have to remember that when these give up on me.

Does the Safety Prime really save any effort or make things more efficient than just placing a primer in the arm by with your fingers?

    • @FatManLeather

I think it saves quite a lot of time once it's set up well. I have the older setup, the new one may be different, just take the time to set it up and you shouldn't have to adjust it again, I recently loaded 2000 rounds of 9mm without an issue.

My press came with these primer attachments on the ram, but how do you attach them? I have no holes to pin them. It looks like you have a hole. I have the exact same press.

    • @FatManLeather

The pin is in the ram, there should be a notch on the bottom of the primer arm that goes over the pin, basically gravity holds it in.

I tried to return my LEE LOAD MASTER Press to Lee and they would not let me return it (only 4months old). This video is a turret press but I no long buy any Lee products. Buy once, very once

I've never had to return anything to Lee, I know they don't have the best warranty in the biz.
