It's so bizarre when a commenter says things that are not so post-to, but we all make mistakes. Just a few people can comment on athletics, and you have that ability. But being jealous is not your thing.
Brilliant run by JI! Smart, conservative and no need to be flashy. The commentator, was wrong! Laura Muir in particular is known to hang right back even last in the pack!
He literally did everything to make it look flashy and wasn't conservative at all. Was no need to leave such a big gap in the beginning, nor was it necessary do that last sprint and pass the Italian guy at the end. He is a great runner but is really cocky and egocentrical.
@@UltraWhale he actually ran the first lap evenly. If you look again, you'll see he passed 100 meters in right around 15 seconds, and caught up to the pack by 400m in 60.x seconds. It's the rest of the pack that slowed down. Given this is a prelim, that's somewhat predictable and he chose to stay out of trouble and run evenly. That proved itself even more when he was dead last going into the bell lap where immediately after passing the bell, a pack of runners in front of him clashed and fell. Having run behind them, he was able to easily maneuver around them.
Jakob knows he is capable of running fast enough, he simply does not see any reason to fill up his legs with lactic acid just to gain a particular position near the front just after the start.
He’s toying with them. Like a pro against a group of amateurs.
Stare down at the end while passing him goes hard
A Master at work by Jakob "Reverse Thinking". Start Slow and The pack will Run Ahead Fast = Automatic Pace Making.🙂👍Genius

SEBASTIAN COE & STEVE OWETT 3, 31 !
Annoying announcers
I wish they would get rid of the 1500 m and just to the mile in every Diamond Lague, Olympics, pro race
Are you American? (just asking)
u stupid?
@@twojstaryesz100% American. Why else would you want them to run 1609m instead of 1500? 😁
Didn't his wife have their baby? She got pregnant on their honeymoon!
Jakob truly wastes no time damn
He is disrespectful towards his opponents and it's going to bite him.
Just let him do his thing lol
It is heat tho no way they can keep the pace they started
It's not disrespectful, he's simply just better 😂
he's just too lazy just look at his starts lol

Lazy is kinda crazy he just knew he absolutely no reason to push the pace or even lead he just cruised it out and won and it is just a prelim anyway
