- Ten years ago, Russell Ledet was a full-time security guard at Baton Rouge General Hospital. Thanks in part to a surgeon who took him under his wings, Ledet is now in the pediatrics rotation at the same hospital.

I said the same thing. He is so humble that he didn’t even mention the fact he already has a doctorate degree. He’s just pursuing another one in medicine.

It would be so great if there colleges, like Stanford, Notre Dame, Yale, etc. want to charge and offer scholarships that would be okay but there would be colleges that are payed for by the government[fed and state] so that America wouldn’t miss out on having exceptional professionals in fields of work ranging from doctors to car mechanics to engineers to beauticians. Just think about how many citizens would make a great difference but never do because they can’t afford college, and we other citizens miss out on benefiting from them as well.
Its sad that even in this day and age we are still mentally bound by slavery
